I recently purchased a 2109s as well. I have to agree that this is a great unit for a couple. So far it seems to be well built and have all the amenities we need.
What are the recommendations for using the electronic sway control on the truck with a anti sway WD hitch? Do they work together or do you only use one?
Wanted to post some pics of the Ranger now ready for towing. Thanks to all for the good advice. Decided to go with the Redarc brake control, Andersen WD hitch, Draw Tite max frame hitch/receiver and T-one wiring harness. Haven’t done a bunch of miles yet but so far seems to tow as it should.
Thanks to all for sharing their experience. I am now confident that the Ranger is up to the task. We bought a trailer last night and I am looking forward to getting the Ranger set up for towing.
I do have one last question regarding the brake controller. I have decided to use the Redarc unit but...
I also have recently upgraded my rear shocks only to bilsteins. Didn’t like the pogo stick effect the stock units delivered. The mirrors look good! Thanks for sharing your experience.

Just wanted to follow-up with everyone. I installed new bilstein shocks today rear only as the fronts are not available anywhere. With just the rears replaced, the pogo stick effect has been reduced 85%. Truck feels like a completely different vehicle, much more pleasant to drive. I intend to...
Thank you to all for replies. I think I will start by changing the rear shocks out with a set of Bilsteins. If I get a noticeable improvement I will change out the fronts as well. I will also drop the tire pressure to 32 psi. The truck is driven exclusively on the street so I am reluctant to go...
