I will confirm that, I too experienced great improvement as well. Did not have to change the fronts to get a great result though if you are flush with cash that could improve things a bit more.
Thanks for the effort, since we in Ottawa are currently well below freezing and my garage is unheated it is unlikely I will be poking around there in pooling melt-water looking for the connector. It has since "dried out" as the false parking obstruction warnings have gone away. I speculate...
Would you be willing to share a picture of the connector and where it is located so that I can find it please. All 4 sensors were wiped dry after the car wash. Thanks!
That is exactly what is happening to me. I live in Ottawa Canada so it gets cold here too. Had to have a front parking sensor replaced which restored operation of the the parking system but this other event still occurs after the new sensor was installed. The parking system display shows it as...
It’s not my opinion it is my experience that I reported on. Your opinion is a kinda Captain Obvious type reply that does not really advance the discussion.
Save your money and just change the rear shocks. I did that and was very pleasantly impressed. I used the B8 5100 rear shocks. Stock height was retained.
I have changed complete sets of tires for winter and the 2019 version of tpms reads the tire present and nothing is required. Have never had to reset tpms.
Interesting, the recommended pressure for LT 265/65/17 LT tires is 38 psi. My 4 wheel drive Lariat came with those tires and FX4. Unbelievable rough ride. Replaced the rear shocks with Bilsteins and the tires with normal non LT tires 265/65/r17 at 32 psi all around. Greatly improved ride. When...
Load range D tires do not exist for any truck, they are only used ON trailers and my trailer has them. I do not own a toy hauler and my trailer tongue load is appropriate. Thanks for your suggestions .
I am not experincing sway but am being pushed around by the wind above 65 mph. The tire pressure I mentioned refers to the rear tires of the Ranger. Load range D tires refers to the tires on my trailer, of that I am certain. They are inflated to the tire pressure spec decal on the side of the...
As has been repeated several times your Ranger with the trailer tow package will tow easily either trailer. To skip to points not already mentioned I tow a larger trailer the Jayco 224BH easily with my Ranger. The first point is that the rear tire pressure needs to be increased from the...
I have removed the OEM LT tires that came on my truck. The TPMS wont let me run the new standard load tires at their recommended cold pressure because LT tires require much higher pressures to carry the same max load.
I want the tire pressure range to be changed to match the new tires. How...
I have had the 265/65/17 Lt tires and factory recommended pressure is 38 psi. That included the punishing ride. I can only imagine how rough the ride is at 42-45 psi. Additionally when off roading the normal case is to reduce tire pressure substantially.
