Yeah that one kinda threw me off lol. At jeep we just straight up replace the coolers on the 8/10 speeds. Ford may not include that with their warranty repairs though
I thought I was the only one, my truck had 45lbs of air in the tires when the hankooks call for 30. I got it from my dealers new car lot so I know it wasnt from the shop. Guess ford just got air happy.
So got it to work luckily. It took about 10 times for it to take the flash. Kinda weird, first time iv had it happen to me ?‍♂️. Everything seems to be working fine.
I work at a dealer that offers lifetime powertrain warranty and its pretty much bullshit marketing to get customer to buy their cars. I've only seen it cover a car once. The guidelines are super strict (say you go over 500 miles from their recommended oil change they can deny it) I honestly...
Yeah neither did mine but I work at a dealer and most people pay some porter to just do it on them so they can pocket more money lol. Techs only really get involved if its something tricky. Made filling up my winter washer fluid up easy ?‍♂️
Well good thing your new ranger motor is based off the 2.3L motors in Mazda which includes the speed3. Well the bottom end anyway. The top was redisgned thanks to regulations (no cleaning of intake valves by fuel)
I believe there is an option for the app to only use data while in the app, at least I remember seeing that option when setting it up on my phone (android) That should help your battery issue. The app doesn't really do anything to my battery I still last all day with it.
Out of curiosity as well, does fords system see tunes on vehicles? I work for Chrysler and I know there you don't really care nor really can see if someone is running a tune. All it shows in Star is when a flash was done on a module
