Not really. I get much better gas mileage than I did in the 2019. I was getting 18.6 average in that and almost 21 in the new one. Odd because I don't drive any different than I did before.

Made it there and back with no issues.....didn't even really feel it back there. Took me a lot longer to get home as I was going quite a bit slower, but no issues so I'm happy with the way it turned out. A few pics of the bike on the way back.......enjoy. At home without the bags....

Hey kickinchicken....I just pulled the straps pretty tight and made sure it was centered. I can see it in the camera, but it doesn't block the view at all. I think the RaceFace T2 is pretty much the same pad. I like mine a lot.

Went from a Kuat Platform rack that weighed about 60lbs to this. I love it. Doesn't scratch my paint or leave a dent in the tailgate. The padding is thick where the fork stanchions meet the pad and I use a microfiber between the two so as not to scratch anything.
