You are not alone. Good reminder for an update.
Our partners in requested detail on US tank fuel inlet as they tend to differ from Australian models. We had to purchase a Ford part to confirm exact spec and they have been shared with the fabricators. Two prototypes will be on the way next month...
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Couple of points -
To each his own - upgraded main tank, transfer tank in bed, Jerry cans, all good.
We offer solutions the market asks for - no demand, no need, fine with us
One example - we just got our first Kaymar bumper kit for Rangers - in the container seen in our...
Not promoting (we do not offer nor have we a relationship with the firm), but we have friends with Clearview mirrors in AU as below. The US site does not list Rangers, but neither do they list Prado 120/150 Toyotas, which match Lexus GX 470/460.
Worth a shout to either the US guys or the home...
NO NEWS/GOOD NEWS
Well, some news.....and happy holidays to the crew.
Our partners in Lilydaly (suburban Melbourne, Victoria State) are off until the 11th of January. They get the holidays in the midst of Summer, so now snow but lots of time for fun and family. Me jealous? Yup.
Anyway, the...

Thank you for your courteous and professional post on the thread's primary topic.
As you know, the diesel and petrol Rangers vary in a number of ways. One of those is the charcoal canister (none on diesel), fuel pump, sending unit, fuel feed point, etc.
Now that we have factory fuel...
Sending unit is modified by slightly bending the rod down to reflect deeper tank, not replaced.
DTE may be based upon gallonage in tank, or it could be a learned data set based upon how far one can go on a tank given realized consumption of the vehicle. Varies with manufacturer as we understand.
The Australian diesel kit provides for modification of the fuel gauge sending unit to accommodate new tank configuration. The gauge functions as stock after installation.
Close but no cigar. I am a Norwegian prince.

Thanks for the tank conversation, guys. A quick update on development of Long Range Automotive tank for North American Rangers with gasser engines.
After two months, we finally got parts from Ford - evap canister and fuel pump cartridge/sending unit. We are now able to send to Melbourne for...
Thanks for your continued interest - also for mention of Mishimoto. That firm is a favorite of ours - great products, amazing communications skills and an inspiration to us as a business on how to do it "the right way"
As Chris says, access to OE parts for development plus Covid...
We offer the full range of Kaymar rear bumper/carrier systems, including Ranger shown below. Configuration of tire carrier(s) / jerry can holders at your choice. Includes hitch receiver rated at 7,700 lbs. towing capacity. Standard finish is black satin powder coat.
We appreciate all the feedback/input from you folks. All good info even if it doesn't work for a given reader/poster. Just market intel and data to use in making decisions.
They have gassers as well. Point is that the tanks don't leak, even when used in a robust manner. Not suggesting it shouldn't be an issue if your butt says it is, just that the Aussies seem not to have the same degree of concern as they use them.
Thanks for all the comments. We are listening.
A successful product is one that works as designed, meets needs of buyers and of sellers.
Our partners in Australia have designed, manufactured and sold tanks around the world for over 30 years. They know what they are doing and are well equipped...
The Australian option under discussion is a replacement. We do not offer any aux tanks for pick ups and also none that are gravity feed.
We cannot tell you what the ground clearance of the new steel tank is, since we do not have a before/after, but the photos below provide some points of...
Chris -
Thanks for the interest and support. And for the opportunity to join the community. As general manager of the firm that serves as distributor/developer of the tank, I will make a couple of comments for group info and clarification - not intended as a sales pitch. We will not sell or...
