Do you mind me asking how much you paid for the 589 Fab hidden winch mount? I was waiting for them to get more in and they did....they have it priced at $500. That seems so high to me for a winch mount. I was hoping $250, $300 tops. That’s more than some winches.
I ended up taking the EcoBoost signage off. And now I want to do the matte black as you did to the ford symbol. I don’t know why, but I just feel that EcoBoost and Blue Ford symbol takes away from the look of the bumper/truck.
Anyone aware of winch mounts for stock bumper that works well? With it being steel, I’d like to Possibly save cash on buying a new bumper and just add a winch mount and winch to the stock bumper, while using a relocation bracket for Adaptive Cruise Control. Any help is appreciated.
With a 2inch leveling kit, the Ranger has a 34.8 degree approach angle. The TRD Pro Tacoma has a 35 degree approach angle so it is very close. But adding bigger tires will increase that approach angle and so will adding a new bumper. What are your thoughts on the Addictive Desert Designs bumper...
@Andy how would you relocate it up higher with factory front setup? I am interested in doing this and I cannot find a spot where the sensor would have an opening like it does now. Does the sensor require to be in an open area?
@HenryMac - I bought the White Knuckle rock sliders. I got the DOM angled up versions instead of straight out versions. When I checked with White Knuckle, they informed me that getting the straight out would cause a 1inch reduction in clearance. That is one reason I went with angled.
I am...
I have adaptive cruise control and break assist on my 19 ranger. Are the sensors in question also responsible for those features? I had a car pull out in front of me that I didn’t see the other day and the truck stopped on it’s own, so I’d hate to mess with that feature at all.
