and this morning, they are all synced up with nothing done on my part, when i parked the truck last night, they were all at -- and reporting the tpms system error. this morning.. all there... who knows. the old wheels and tires are still in the garage, about 10ft away, up on a shelf, i couldnt...
I tried the "let the air out of the tires till it honks" method with the truck in training mode, and nothing happened. i tried using the little programming remote, also nothing happened, so, i have no idea whats going on :/
what does letting air out of the tire do (besides letting air out of the tire :P ) ? is there a significance to driving the truck above 15mph for a quarter mile? did you use the tool to resync?
I got new wheels and tires last week, i got a new set of ford motorcraft TPMS sensors for the new ones. shop put everything on, and gave me back my old wheels and tires, took them home in the bed of the truck.
On the way home 4 tires were being read by the truck, they said they weren't sure if...
if i can find a front bash plate for a decent price, that will come off. i dont really go 4x4ing so its not an immediate need.
Just checked, lethal performance has the fx4 skid plate for 260 shipped. not horrible.
Finally got the wheels and tires done. Ever since i went to the bronco off rodeo last year i've wanted meatier feet. My 13 year old talked me into new wheels too. so here i am, 2.5 level, falken wildpeaks 265/70/17 on Method Race 703, 8.5" x 17" with +35 offset. I think it turned out pretty good.
which model method 701 did you end up with? im having a heck of a time figuring out which ones actually fit. i have a 2.5 level, looking to get 17s, with 265 70 17 falken wildpeaks, but the different measurements on the wheels are messing me up. what size hub/center bore size we need?
do you have a link for the methods you got? i am looking at getting the same ones but in black, trying to make sure im getting the right one to fit our truck. thanks
im looking at getting those in matte black, with 265/70/17 falken wildpeaks. which part number for the wheels did you get and where did you end up getting yours from? i see method race 701 in 17" that state they have 4.75" of backspacing, is that ok? how far did your tires stick out past the fender?
