  1. Lets see your sport package trucks

The day we dropped the big check... on dealer floor
  2. LIGHTNING BLUE Ranger Club Thread

Just passed 1,000 miles so hooked up the boat and drove it to shop for annual service. Boat/trailer weighs just under 4500 lbs. Can definitely "feel" it back there more than when I had the F-150 doing the pulling. But that 2.3 pulls like crazy... no problems at all.
  3. What are you guys towing?

Just used the new rig to tow with... for the first time... just beyond 1,000 miles on odom... annual service needed on boat as we have a full season of fishing planned. What is it? 20 foot Raider with full offshore bracket, 150 Yamaha and T8 kicker, EZ Loader trailer. When loaded for a...
  4. Your WD and Sway control of choice?

I used an Equal-i-zer WD hitch when we owned a 27' travel trailer (had an F-150 in those days). In fact, I made installation (and fine tuning) of the hitch system a condition when purchasing the trailer as I wanted to be "road ready" driving off the dealer's lot. The TT we had was 4500 pounds...

  7. New Members Introduce Yourself!

Got my new Ranger one month ago... happy to be part of the group; learning a lot about mods, etc. Previous ride was a 2006 F-150 (lots to be said for that 5.4 Triton engine) that I really loved... 160,000 miles and 14 years with literally no problems... but it was time for something new...
  8. PNW Chit Chat

Got mine exactly one month ago... have not seen very many in my neighborhood
  9. New Rangers as Toads and key in ignition?

There might be an obvious answer to this question... but here goes anyway Key must be in ignition and switched to "on" for the "neutral, 4 down tow" selection to be made. Question is, can one get a "dummy key" made to do this job... that is, just the part of the key that slips into the...
