  1. Bilstein 5100 Adjustable Leveling Shock Kit

rparge, I just saw your post from 2020. When you had Les Schwab put or Bilsteins on, did they adjust/check the ACC for you? Or did you just check it afterward yourself and find it was good? Thanks!
  2. SSM 49264 - Climate Control Temperature Will Not Adjust With Clicking/Snapping Noise From The Dash

The FordProtect "Used PremiumCARE" Several dealers sell them online (www.zeiglerfordesp.com is one), usually cheaper than the retail pricing at local dealers. I found out about them on here.
  3. SSM 49264 - Climate Control Temperature Will Not Adjust With Clicking/Snapping Noise From The Dash

This issue just cropped up on my 2019 XLT...at 41k miles. Considering my options, as I don't think I'm as mechanically inclined as dmeyer302. 1. Pay for the fix out-of-pocket? I think the shop labor rate at my dealer here in Colorado is around $150/hour, so that could run $1000+? ? 2...
  4. Push Button start...

Stumbled on this when browsing the interwebs. I'm not hankering that badly for keyless entry and push-to-start, but if anyone tries it, I'd be interested in their experience... https://www.digitalguarddawg.com/keyless-ignition/automotive/ikey-premier/
  5. Rubbing noise when turning left. Tire wear.

It sounds silly, but check your wheel well liners. Some of the plastic pop-rivets had come out on mine and it was dragging against the tire, especially while braking and low speed turns.
  6. Hitch Racks

I have a Yakima Dr. Tray and the tailgate clears no problem. It’s a 1-1/4” hitch model to accommodate my wife’s Subaru as well. Only shortfall is that I need to find a reducer with less wobble.
  7. Bed rail mounts with hard tonneau cover

SVTPaul, I've been happy with it so far. Like I said, a bit of a PITA getting them on and level, but no issues since then. The HF650M is solid cover. I like the fact that it's a quad-fold and doesn't block the CHMSL. The quad-fold will allow me to go with a lower rack height as well. Also...
  8. Bed rail mounts with hard tonneau cover

I've got the 65s but haven't mounted them yet (COVID wrecked my snowboarding plans this year). I measure the rails to be about 59" outer-edge-to-outer-edge, so you may be able to squeeze 60s on there, but it would be close. You could try get the mounting points first, then measure the width and...
  9. Timbren Active Off-Road Bump towing?

Do you do any towing and if you do, how much weight?
  10. Timbren Active Off-Road Bump towing?

I've been considering these too. Have you tried them yet?
  11. Bed rail mounts with hard tonneau cover

I took off the strips that came on them and attached the thinner ones. To be honest, I had to mount and remove them 4-5 times to get it all to line up. It’s a good product, but takes a lot of patience to set up right. I thought I would need to use the little shims between the rail caps and the...
  12. Bed rail mounts with hard tonneau cover

Yeah, I bought a set of the Yakima adapters on Amazon to check and then returned them (yay for free returns!). The problem is that the rubber base of the Yakima t-slot adapter doesn't match the profile of the Truxedo rails. There might be a way to fabricate something with some hard rubber...
  13. Bed rail mounts with hard tonneau cover

If anyone's curious, I emailed Truxedo this week, and they told me the Elevate racks are in final testing and they expect to start shipping them this summer.
  14. Bed rail mounts with hard tonneau cover

Autobot and Return Ranger, sorry I haven't been on here in awhile to respond... I did get them to sit flush, after a fair bit of trial and error. I think I uninstalled and reinstalled everything 5 or 6 times. I have a Leer HF650M hard folding tonneau. I originally thought I'd need to use the...
  15. 5G Ranger's Hauling Things Thread

I need to haul a whole lot of 2” landscaping rock from my yard. I’m not worried about the weight because I could make multiple trips, but does anyone know if the aluminum bed will hold up to a load of loose rock? I have a Rhino spray-in liner, but still worried about dings...
  16. Bed rail mounts with hard tonneau cover

Like I said, Truxedo has taken down their link, but here's the link to the manual for the rack: https://truxedo.com/images/Install Guides/1118345-OWNERS-MANUAL-ELEVATE-RACK.pdf Several third-party vendors carry it and have thorough descriptions: RealTruck.com...
  17. Bed rail mounts with hard tonneau cover

Here's the pics I promised. I haven't gotten the rack yet, but I do have a set of Rhino crossbars (not installed). As I mentioned, it took a little trial-and-error; once you have the Truxedo rails sandwiched between the truck bed and the tonneau rails, the tolerances are much tighter. The...
  18. Bed rail mounts with hard tonneau cover

Truxedo just released a rail system called Elevate that is exactly what you are looking for. You'll have to completely remove your BakFlip to install, because the Elevate rails are sandwiched in between your truck bed rail and the BakFlip mounting rail. It took me some trial-and-error to get...
  19. Colorado here

Checking in. I'm in the Springs and just picked up my truck right before Christmas. I'm game for meetups, trail rides, or just comparing notes.
  20. Anyone in the Denver area...

I'm in the Springs as well. Happy to help or just hang out, though I don't get up to Denver that often.
