Welcome to the site and congrats on the Lariat order!
As for rack options, here's photos of the Yakima racks from their SEMA display and also the Ranger accessories brochure showing the rack options...
Yup trail control / crawl control systems take in info from variety of sensors (stability control, wheel speed, brakes) which will detect slippage at each wheel. The computer then takes that info and will determine how much throttle and braking to apply to each wheel. I haven't seen any info yet...
I don't see it on the current accessories list, but it could always come later. If you can't wait, you just have a shop wrap it with gloss black vinyl.
Strong post! And remember, you can negotiate extended warranty prices just like vehicle prices. So be sure to use dealers' quotes against each other to get yourself best price possible.
Congrats and welcome to the site. Nice I see you got X-plan pricing.
Any idea how many orders are in ahead of you? I'm curious how many pre orders dealers have gotten by now on average.
Great pics Brian thank you. After seeing these real life pics I think Hot Pepper Red is one color that might look better with chrome/silver trimmings and wheels. Anyone seen this color yet with black grille and wheels?
Great comparison chart thanks for sharing. This highlights how super competitive the Ranger is looking against the other midsize pickups! Looking forward to hearing how all this translate to real world driving reviews.
Then it sounds like Jeep is pricing their pickup to be a lifestyle instead of lifestyle+work vehicle. I'm glad that Ford will be offering models that start sub $25k but also more luxurious models that hit $40k. Makes so much more sense to me than Jeep's approach.
The Ranger will further seal the fate of the midsize sedan. It matches the sedan in price and tech but can haul and sits high off the ground. They're gonna sell a ton of these. No wonder Ford decided to axe its car lineup.
Not much you can tell between the two models from what they were doing. Main thing is just seeing how they look different design wise.
It would take actual seat time to feel the real difference between the two IMO. Or seeing the two run the same terrain at high speed.
Good to know. I was thinking it would be weird if there was no price separation between the F-150 and Ranger. With that price difference are you leaning towards the Ranger?
I mean would they be the same for the trucks in other countries? I can likely find those, I just didn't go digging for them yet. I am more so just curious. It isn't something that is super important.
This doesn't surprise me when you look at markets overseas but this can end up hurting sales when they release it here.
I am guessing this will change. I can't see them not having a gas-powered V-6 truck sell great in the US.
