I second this. If you are just buying it to buy it and don't have long-term plans, save the money and put it towards a newer truck. It can be a lot of fun messing around with older models but it can also end up costing a lot. If you don't have a scrap yard near where you live, it will cost even...
Isn't that just the standard first coat? Like before they actually paint the truck or am I wrong? I really don't know how they do pain jobs these days with newer trucks.
THIS.
Salesmen will say anything to get you to come back or to ensure you buy with them. The people here actually research and follow trends for Ford and truck releases. I highly doubt a salesman is doing this in his spare time!!
That could be what it is for me. Primer just feels dull and basic. I don't need the truck to be flashy by any means but this just looks so boring. Also, it would get dirty so fast with heavy work and off-roading.
Meh. I am not a fan of the color on this body. I really don't care much for lighter shades of grey on cars in general. I like dark shades like navy, black, charcoal, hunter green, and so on. It shows off the body well but it will just look like a giant toy truck outdoors.
Who is to say this one won't have a hefty price tag in the US as well? I have not read anything confirmed as far as prices go for the RR but I know the bigger trucks tend to cost more as they are more powerful and better for off-road. They are more like a sports truck with labor tasking in mind...
I just noticed that the RR doesn't have the 3.5L like the F-150 Raptor. Why wouldn't they want this truck to be on par with the other large truck they offer? It makes no sense to me. To me, if they don't include it, it is like a major setback for the truck in general. All this size and no power...
