I have recently applied the performance tune and find it makes a noticable difference in how the truck reacts. Gonna be switching to the tow tune after this tank of fuel to try it out.

I am towing a similar sized trailer. I find that as long as I keep to 55 mph it tows fine.

Is that true for all 4x4 or just the ranger? Are vehicles like Jeeps built with heavier components?

I just ordered this today and am looking forward to a tow tune. I recently swapped out tires, shocks and added a sway bar to improve towing profile. Has anyone had any issues with these tunes here on the forums? So far I have only seen positive reviews.

Thank you for your sound advice. I would caution all to heed it. The Jayco weighs in at 6223 lbs with full fuel tanks. I try never to travel with more than 5 gallons of water in the fresh water tank. I would like to get it weighed the next time I load for a long trip.

I did not weigh it. My estimate was 7000 lbs for this based on the. The Maximum weight of the trailer is 7500lbs. The trailer is a 2017 Jayco SLX 287BHSW. I researched and looked at many trailers before I settled on this one. It has well thought out internal storage and a large bathroom.

I did not. I reset the trip meter once I put the trailer on just to see the milage from the dealer to the campsite. I was probably at half a tank when I pulled out from the dealer.
