Hey guys. I’m not sure if this has been posted or not, but if it has I couldn’t find it. I was curious as to whether or not to go with a catless downpipe with my exhaust. I have been considering an exhaust system since I got the truck. I know a lot of people gripe about the “Honda fart can...
I know that it’s a problem. I also know I’m not the only one having the problem. Once Ford comes out with a repair, I would be happy to let them fix it. as I stated before, I could care less if it didn’t even have this system so leaving it off isn’t really a problem for me either. I really just...
It wasn’t a mistake. 1- most every brand has a feature similar to this in all new vehicles. It’s a pretty standard thing by today’s standards. 2- I knew the vehicle had this technology when I bought it. What I didn’t know is that it would be activating because it was raining outside. I still...
I knew I could turn off the braking feature but I wanted to turn off the alarm feature, which I didn’t think was possible; however, I discovered yesterday that you can turn the pre collision off as well as the AEB. I was more interested in tricking the sensor than ripping the truck apart, but...
It has done it once when I would say it should have. I was going down the interstate and traffic came to a halt abruptly. The alarm came on but I had my foot on the brake before it could engage the AEB system. This morning on the way to work it was raining. More like a mist really, and as I was...
Is there anyway do disable or bypass the pre collision assist entirely? It’s not really a feature I had any interest in and it tends to go off when it’s raining or snowing with nothing in front of me. It’s annoying and it’s just more things to break.
@Mishimoto you missed the second part of the question, what about the ccv side? If I’m catching from the pcv side, what about everything that comes through the ccv?
@Mishimoto Would I have to worry about this thing freezing and causing problems in the winter? Also, if you only put the catch can on the pcv side, what about possible oil and condensation in the ccv side?
