Update. As I said I'll update till it's found.
I replaced the egr, put it in wrong. Garage replaced with genuine ford. Maf and map replaced. Dpf and exhaust temp sensors replaced. All faults now gone. However rpm.surging still there ffs!
Had an auto electrician have a look at ecu. All good...
As you can see I have 2 EGR temp PIDs I'm assuming that EGRT is not used as it just sits at -40. Besides this it seems ok. I dont have a CHT PID either. Ill check wire on MAF today
Now with Gen Ford installed. Red is MAF Blue is Turbo. Much cleaner lines. Faults are gone besides the P1102. The surging's is far less. Prob 80% less. I suspect a leak somewhere. These are screen shots of the surging. @airline tech
Replaced map with genuine ford and all the map and turbo issue never came back. I've not put the ford maf in yet. I reset kam. Now took on a test ride and still surging. I looked at the pedal PIDs. They do not follow the surge. I've added a pic of the turbo and maf whilst surging. I now have a...
Crap I made a mistake its 12v not 24v. I work as an electrical engineer and control voltage is 24v. I was in autopilot when I made the image. Sorry. Pin 5 has me guessing. Its got 5v on it. Surely the return should not have a voltage if the sensor is not plugged in?
Or does this get modulated...

Its was a bosch sensor not from ford. I've ordered a new map and maf from ford. It would be so good to find out if voltages are correct. Its booked in for the garage the 22nd. But will fit the Ford parts from ford this week.
I've also checked voltages at plug. Green Yellow is signal back I think. Is this a modulated voltage? Are these correct? I've been trying to find data online but no luck. Its pointing more to an air leak.
I did look a PIDs for fuel rail pressures and throttle position all looks good. @airline...
Ive done a PID of the MAF just Key On. It reads 2.5 on idle its around 19. The maf does react to throttle while engine is running. Possible learning error? Im going to reset KAM using forscan next i think
Quick question, am I doing this correct as far as putting in the new MAF. Im disconnecting the battery for 30 min then reconnect and idle for 10 min? @airline tech
I've booked in for Ford to have a look as well. I disconnected the battery for 30 min ans installed the hella and still bad results. I will leave the hella in and see what ford says. At least it will help the next person.
Update to the saga. I decided to buy a Hella MAF sensor made in China. Think it was a big mistake. I get over boost, and other times underboost, maf and map inconsistencies, maf and vaf too. Maf is all over the shop. Im buying a genuine one Monday.
I unplugged the maf and the surging disappeared. I've just bought a new one. Do I need to disconnect the battery so the ecu will relearn?
I'll.then record the PIDs mentioned. Cheers guys
