Hi @airline tech! One more question for you. And anyone else who'd like to chime in. How do you typically prefer to tap for power on a a plug like this? Do you modify the connector itself, or do you tap the wire somehow? I can strip and solder but I imagine there is another preferred method.

Also, this sounds ideal. Not only to have a tractor... but one with an ooga horn. Wow.

Thanks for your suggestions. I actually quite like the color of the light: it matches the other orange lights on the dash and I think a layperson might not realize it’s a mod. As for the brightness, I will eventually pursue @airline tech’s suggestion and try one of the power taps from a nearby...

thank you, @airline tech.?? I’ll dig around up front and see if I can find that switch. I have a 2020, and I believe my shifter is illuminated. For the record, my button is next to the shifter, below the 4WD selector knob.

@airline tech Thank you for the info. There is a separate pole for the LED. I’ve read claims that the dash lighting level is controlled by PWM so hopefully this will work. Can you provide any more detail on the suggested tapping points? I’m not sure where to find a good wiring diagram. @OFC...
