    The small town dealership told me the transmission needed to be overhauled. Also said that they didn't have the proper fusilaties to do it. I was able to drive it the 200 miles back home. Found out today that I will be getting a new transmission.

    Update This morning the wrench was gone and reverse was working. Went to the dealership. Has code P2704. Evidently it has thrown this code multiple times every day for months that I was unaware of. Truck is at the dealership and I'm waiting to see what they come up with.

    2021 Ford Ranger Lariet 50,000 miles Put truck in reverse and got the wrench light. Truck would not go into reverse. Will go into drive and go forward but no reverse. Then got that message from Ford pass. Powertrain malfunction 200 miles from home. I'm going to take it to a Ford...
