Seems like they will help out somewhat, seems like they should help you out quite a bit since you only have 47k miles, but who knows. They told me for the goodwill program they assign each customer points according to how many cars bought from ford, if you bought the car new, if you did service...
This dealer called it the ford good will program and it went through their warranty manager, I also heard people contacting corporate on their own also.
Just happened to me two weeks ago truck had 75k miles on it and dealer sent it to ford and they agreed to cover 5k of the 11k quote…. Still a big hit to the wallet ?
thanks dealer is trying to get goodwill out of ford and they said there is a good chance, fingers crossed something gets worked out because 11k is insane. There wasn’t even any codes/check engine light anything, just weird shifting.
(2019 Ranger XLT) I moved my whole life from California to Texas a few years ago towing a 6500k tow hauler full of my stuff including ATVs probably 8500k full. This was definitely a crazy haul the Ranger kicked butt most of the way, only issue I had was when I hit a steep grade the temp gauge...
Thanks for all the help everyone. I also change the front and rear diff/axle oil and the transfer case oil. All three were sludgy and had quite a bit of metal on the magnets at 67k if anyone else was thinking about changing those I definitely would look into it. All three pretty easy jobs.
Hey just wondering if anyone has done it and used non chlorinated brake cleaner on the plastic pan? I know you usually don’t use brake cleaner on plastic so it makes me a little nervous. Any other suggestions to clean it?
