I learned that doing suspension work on my old POS escape.
  4. Tremor VS Waldoch Rampage

I was watching the install of the adjustable Fox coil overs and it looks like no alignment is needed with that install. I have had bad luck with alignment shops in my area.
  5. Tremor VS Waldoch Rampage

    Thanks.
  6. Tremor VS Waldoch Rampage

Ahh... I had not thought of the quality of the lift. I am fairly ignorant. I ASSUMED that the BDS was high quality. I have Duratracks on my Jeep and really like them.
  7. Tremor VS Waldoch Rampage

It is going to be a multi purpose rig. I am down sizing. I just sold my wife's 1996 Chevy HD 3/4 ton truck and the old Dodge. I went from 2 trucks to no trucks. I have been driving the Rubicon for a year, and while it is an awesome off road beast it is lacking on icy roads and has zero ability...
  8. Tremor VS Waldoch Rampage

1972 Dodge W200 (3/4 ton) Power Wagon. 5.9 Magnum, Edelbrock intake and carb, MSD ignition, Dana 60 rear, lockrite locker, Dana 44 HD front Aussie locker, 285/75/16 BFG KO2's, Warn hubs. Beast mode.

When you hit a guardrail @ 120 MPH there is no crash bar that is gonna save you.
  10. Tremor VS Waldoch Rampage

These are my current 4X4's and they do great in snow and ice. Though I am dumping the Jeep soon.
  11. 34's installed 285/75R 17 Just leveled.

I worked more than one traffic accident where the front tire was where the driver or passenger used to be.
  12. Tremor VS Waldoch Rampage

They would work for me where I live. I would like a bit more rubber but for the snow and Ice we get 7 months out of the year that in itself is not an issue.
  13. Tremor VS Waldoch Rampage

As the title suggests. I am wanting to buy a new Ranger, hopefully near the end of July. I have been shopping around and of course there was one Tremor locally I looked at before it sold. My wife insists on the pushbutton start, though it will be my truck as she has a 22 Bronco Sport. Dealers...
  14. Rear Diff Locked On Its Own, Unable To Unlock

22K miles. It is under warranty. Call the stealer. If it is anything like the elockers on a Jeep, the computer just grounds the relay to engage them. You may be able to take out the fill plug and see the plate and pop it back with a small screwdriver. It is just an plate and emagnet.
  15. Snow Plow on a 2019 Ranger?

I would never mount a plow to a Ranger. My plow truck is a 1972 Dodge W200 (3/4 ton) Power Wagon. I have beefed up EVERYTHING from factory and still break things and wear things out faster. I only plow myself out and live in rural North Dakota.
  16. Kids Today Think They Invented “Overlanding”…. Lol!

Don't laugh. I went some places in a 67 Plymouth fury with a slant six that some 4x4's were having trouble with.
  17. New Ford Vehicles Heavily Damaged In Arizona Derailment

It can't. The railroad uses small explosives on the tracks to warn of immediate danger and that does not derail the train.
  18. ROTATING YOUR TIRES, HE MAKES AN INTERESTING CAUSE FOR DISCUSSION

Well, I rotate the 35" tires on my Jeep religiously. If I drove a RWD car with average street tires I would not be too concerned. Even my old pickup was not as hard on tires as the jeep is.
  19. Hello

I am 6' tall and they seem to be in the way and I don't feel the truck is high enough to make use of them. I put steps on my jeep which has a 4" lift of 35's and the steps get in the way more often than not. 7 months out of the year we have snow on the ground so it seems like a great way to get...
