  1. Windshield chips/cracks

I've had my 2020 since new, and somehow I've never had so many windshield chips as on this truck. One of them developed into about an 8 inch crack, and it's the last straw. Is anyone else wondering if Ford when with cheap garbage glass? Does anyone happen to know if there are different quality...
  2. 2020 Ranger Tailgate - non-magnetic???

Thanks, just tested multiple surfaces with the neodymium magnets on my LED work light. Funny, I spent a bunch of time cleaning a spot on the tailgate first.
  3. 2020 Ranger Tailgate - non-magnetic???

Weird story, I bought a bumper sticker sized magnet that sticks to the doors, side of the bed, but NOT to the tailgate? Is my 2020 tailgate skinned in something other than steel?
  4. The Big Oil Brand Judgement!!

So by the same reasoning, Ford is best suited to tell you how long any given tire, wiper blade, or air filter should last.
  5. The Big Oil Brand Judgement!!

I retired from the motor oil industry about a year ago. We had a number of products positioned as "X miles" products, to keep it simple for the layman. The only time we recommended sticking with OEM service intervals was while under warranty. Just because you show Ford that you're using a 10k or...
  6. Best A/T Tires?

I've run the BFG AT K02's for years on Jeeps, an Xterra, and now the Ranger. I'm definitely going to give the Outdoor Auto video a look. On road, I've never felt like lateral traction was in question, but I definitely feel like I get wheelspin way too easily under heavy throttle, and slip too...
  7. Price shopping: 32/33" tires on 16 vs 17 vs 18 inch wheels

I've got a 2020 XLT FX4, while my wife has a 2002 Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep hardly sees any real road time, as the Ranger has proven to be the most comfortable & versatile on long road trips, etc. I mention this because we recently did a bunch of work getting the Jeep back on the road, sorting out...
  8. Another Seat Delete Post

I really like the bedliner addition. It's a nice touch that probably wouldn't have occurred to me.
  9. How long has Ford been using an electric secondary water pump for cabin heat?

Thanks, the Start/Stop never occurred to me as the reason for these things. What are the odds they're smart enough to run an electric oil pump to the turbocharger for the same reason?
  10. Ford Tie Down Hook -Talk about price gouging....

For that kind of money, I'd be looking at something like this. Stainless, rated for 10,000 pounds, and it'll fold down flat when you don't need it...
  11. Tailgate Seat

You mean how spilling your drink might dampen your pants, or are you talking about an accessory device to reduce oscillation, aka "damper." Though if you spilled your drink on your pants and a companion, one of you might be damper than the other.
  12. How long has Ford been using an electric secondary water pump for cabin heat?

My 2020 Ranger is in the shop (private facility, my local Ford dealer service department is full of clowns). Last week the A/C quit blowing cold in 100+ degree Texas heat. The guys working on it said an electric "Cabin Heater Coolant Pump" failed, triggering a computer response shutting off the...
