  1. California to ban small gas engines by 2024

It may seem like a "push" and "too fast" to some, but the fact is we're way behind the curve at this point. We should have been actively pursuing a more environmentally kind lifestyle 50 years ago. We have wasted quite a bit of time fighting inevitability...so a few quick steps in the right...

Striking resemblance to Ranger Man...perhaps Vault Boy is before the telephone booth?
  3. California Do you know a Superhero?

Ranger Man...watches over me...clears the Tacos that impede my progress...We should all have a Superhero, don't ya think?
  4. Catalytic converter Anti-theft

Well if you were sitting in your truck all night while worrying then the likelihood of a thief making off with your cat is pretty low...nearly zero. I think you've found the answer!:inspect:

  7. Mishimoto R&D: Ranger 2.3L Performance Air Intake

Not diss'en Colorado but in a town with less than 600 people and no automotive shops listed in city business license holders...you have to be a "do it yourselfer" LOL. Assuming you work in Salida?
  8. Installed rear Bilstein’s

Watch the Stage3Motorsports video on YouTube about the Bilstein's going on an F150. It's not exactly what you'll be facing but pretty close. Use factory torque settings when reassembling. Also, the stock shaft boot needs to be modified...it calls for cutting with scissors 1.5" from bottom. The...
  9. Installed rear Bilstein’s

Just had the alignment done...the mechanic inspected my install and deemed me worthy of a cup of coffee! Said everything was "right and proper." The only thing that needed significant adjustment was camber as it was very positive. Now it has a very slight positive, imperceptible with the naked...
  10. Installed rear Bilstein’s

No lift on the rear but used the entire potential on the fronts...just shy of 2.5 inches.
  11. Installed rear Bilstein’s

Fronts on...ride is level...feels like a truck now. Had some issues with install though...first spring compressor would not fit between coils, took to a Big O tire store who said they could do it...their wall mount compressor didn't have enough reach and couldn't compress enough. Finally rented...
  12. Installed rear Bilstein’s

Installing fronts on Monday...a buddy has a construction business with a full shop. Truck goes on lift at 11am, wheels and new tires to tire shop half a mile a way at noon. Front end swap from noon to 4 (if all goes well) pick up wheels with fresh tires and install. Alignment Tuesday...
  13. Installed rear Bilstein’s

Ford FX4 Engineers...Keeping Bilstein in business! I've decided that the Ford engineers don't drive to work...they must take a train.
  14. Installed rear Bilstein’s

Ok...drove to work this morning with the new rears in place. There are 3 expansion joints on the freeway that historically have jolted me enough so that I now turn on my right turn indicator to let people know that I might be bouncing into their lane. Today...a tiny "blip-blip" with no Death Shimmy!
  15. Installed rear Bilstein’s

Ok, update here: Just installed the rears this afternoon...34 minutes, one 15mm ratcheting combo wrench and a long flat blade screwdriver...easy peazy. I didn't pre or post measure height so I don't know for sure that there was a change but...the drive test was incredible...smoother response to...
  16. Installed rear Bilstein’s

I got mine through Stage3Motorsports...ordered complete set and rear arrived in a couple days...fronts still in the mail but still within a week for full delivery. Installing rears today...might have the fronts done professionally due to spring compressor fears...they can be tricky.
  17. Finally A Nasty Complaint

I lock my FOB in everytime I go surfing...with the Lock button on the driver's side door and use the keypad to unlock upon return.
