  1. What is this bracket in the engine for?

It’s for the glow plug relay. Will post a pic shortly of my euro diesel truck with said relay attached. Edit to include photo. Edit 2: it’s not the same bracket upon closer inspection but similar.
  2. Let me know if you need 3D Design and Printing for your Ranger

I'm curious too. I made my own version of the Stedi switch mount that goes between the 12v power ports but later binned that off.
  3. 2023 Ranger Lariat

Welcome my friend, that is a very nice truck!
  4. 4 pin connector identification

I believe it is as far as I can tell. It's standard on all UK wildtrak models but I went with the hard topper instead so the bar was removed. I'm only after the connector to tap into the cargo lights feed (which is in this connector) and do things the "right" way. Yep that's where the...
  5. 4 pin connector identification

Cheers Phil, I was hoping that wasn’t the case. The sports bar I believe is made by ford so I think I’ll give their parts dept a call.
  6. 4 pin connector identification

Hi guys. Does anyone know the brand of this connector? Or the part number for the socket and pins? It is located at the front of the bed near the cab and is for brake lights and cargo lights when the sports bar is fitted to the UK rangers. (May be the same for the US trucks but I’m not sure.)...
  7. Switch Panel for Aux Lighting - What is everyone using?

This is my take on the switch panel. Programmable LCD (not touchscreen, so I have to use the buttons to turn stuff on/off)
  8. Ambient Light Modification/Update

I think the beauty of using a separate controller is that you could run as many strips as required without overloading the components that are already there.
  9. New member from the UK

Thanks for all the welcomes guys! I’m fromYorkshire, England. And I’m an access platform engineer by trade. Found a picture of the truck when it was still clean and new…
  10. Ambient Light Modification/Update

Now this or right up my street! I have thought about doing the exact same thing. In my line of work I deal with CANbus though so LIN is a bit alien to me at the minute. My solution would have been to use an another microcontroller to read the RGB voltages/signals and repeat as necessary.
  11. New member from the UK

Hi all, I'm Bert from the UK. Been looking/searching for the past couple of months since I got my (work) truck. I don't plan on doing an major modifications because it's not technically mine. I do like to dabble with bits though, I'll post some pics up when I've given it a wash. It's a black...
