The Caney river in SE Kansas. Looks a lot better with green IMHO. This old, stone railroad bridge built in the late 1800ās is nearby. Lots of cool spots in this area. If you decide to do the TransAmerica Trail, you might consider a detour into Kansas instead of the section going through the NE...
No doubt theyāre slower due to lack of experience. GFC was actually on-site doing training with them. Not sure, but they may have used mine for impromptu training. They did a good job and Iām sure theyāll get faster as more people start using their location for installs.
Hey Mark, sorry to resurrect this thread, but Iām about to do a dual battery/RedArc Manager30 setup also. However, mine will be in the bed since Iām actually using my rear seat. My question for you is, where did you wire in your ignition trigger for the Manager30?
Thanks! The trailer has been awesome so far. Very simple and lightweight. No gimmicks, just built for adventure.
I hear what youāre saying. If someone really wants in, theyāll get in, but at least itāll keep the opportunistic, 5 finger discount shoppers away. I insured it so if it is damaged I...
When I originally ordered mine it was to be installed in Montana, but a couple of weeks later they announced the Denver location. I just emailed them asking to move it there as it would save me two days of driving and extra hotel costs. Guys in Denver did a great job installing it. Took a couple...
I have owned a few F-150ās and a diesel F-250 and the biggest pro of the Ranger is its size. I can go on trails where the bigger trucks canāt or canāt as easily. Mileage is another pro. I recently towed my, albeit light, camping trailer for 11 hours and averaged 15.9 mpg. While my Tremor is...
Their website and advertising are horrible. I asked them about it and they arenāt terribly concerned. They sell a lot of these trailers overseas, you can guess what for. Trailers are a side business for them. Iām in NE Oklahoma near Tulsa, so Salina wasnāt very far. I drove up to Salina and got...
Thatās the Rugged ānā Ready trailer from toextreme off road. Manufactured in Salina Kansas. They were one of the cheapest, well made, and simplest trailers I could find. I didnāt need anything too fancy for what I do.
To-extreme
Itās just the topper, not the camper. I already have an off road trailer setup. I needed something rugged that I could put more gear into and lock up (I have a wife, kids, dog, etc..)
No, this is the Topper, not the camper. I have an off road trailer that I use for my tent and other things. I donāt consider myself an overlander or hardcore off roader (I owned a JKUR and T4R in the past). My thing is now ābasecamp adventuringā where I pick a spot in the wild and enjoy...
After a lot of research I finally settled on the GFC Topper for my Ranger Tremor. I had a Leer on another truck and after a few years the fiberglass started cracking so I wanted to go with something a little tougher, overbuilt even. Planning on a lot of trips in 2023 and Iām loving the...
TRU Automotive does the installs for GFC in Denver. Just had mine installed last week there. Very professional and knowledgeable guys. Topper made no difference in my ride height, but I have the Tremor which has the upgraded leafs in the back.
Just to add my $0.02, I went with the GFC over the...
