  1. Bronze rocktrix 17"s on Hot pepper red

Unbolt the front bumper. Leave it attached just work pullbone side to remove the front crash bars one at a time. The rear, well most would freak. But I used a airsaw and took about 1/2" off the fender underneath the fender flare. It pulled right out.
  2. Bronze rocktrix 17"s on Hot pepper red

I was skeptical. Did turn out good looking. Florida we are always green. Never gets really cold enough not to be a constant swamp
  3. Bronze rocktrix 17"s on Hot pepper red

No rubbing. But I did remove crash bars and the honeycomb
  4. Bronze rocktrix 17"s on Hot pepper red

Directly from rocktrix. Packaged really good and shipped fast, one huge box that was heavy as hell, would have thought 2 boxes
  5. Bronze rocktrix 17"s on Hot pepper red

Put on a BDS 3.5 spacer kit, 17x9 -12 offset rocktrix and 295/70r17 ridge grapplers
  6. Bds/fox FP tubed

Wasn't really thinking about shock travel. That's why I asked, to get more input on it. Thank you!
  7. Bds/fox FP tubed

Essentially yes. But the idea is to take the preload out of the strut and bring it down from its 2" lift and use the spacer for the height. I dont want to crank the struts up for the 3" putting so much preload in them that it kills the ride. Bds uses a shackle for the rear but the fox shock...
  8. Bds/fox FP tubed

I bought a bds 3.5" kit with uca's. I only bought the spacer kit. The truck already has the fox tuned by ford struts and shocks on it. Trying to keep a decent ride. So question is anyone use spacers and lower the installed height of the strut?
  9. Unleashed, torquerules shift strategy

Not sure about the tow mode on the tow tune. But on the 93 tune. In drive it's fairly normal driving, but gets aggressive in sport mode.
  10. Unleashed, torquerules shift strategy

I have the 87 tow and the 93 performance. The 87 tow seems much more responsive normal driving. Throttle response is awesome. The 93 performance tune drives like stock as far as throttle response, but comes to life and pulls hard when you put your foot into it. I have the shift strategy applied...

I emailed Torrie, he charged me a hundred bucks for the new file but I have several tunes and he has made a alot of changes to my existing tunes. Just ask him for the torquerules shift strategy added to your tune. He sent it to me within a hour

I bought mine at 40k miles. Put 5k on it. I need to change the fluid in mine. I've heard that helps alittle too. But I think the tune was key to making it shift the way it should have from Ford

Living in Florida, we don't leave the house if it's under 50 degrees, so I will possibly never experience this! I let anyone that owns a ranger/f150/mustang drive my truck just because how much better it makes the 10spd
  14. Catted downpipe, what exhaust??

I put a cvf catted down pipe on, the truck originally had a mbrp single exit exhaust on it. After the dp install, the cabin "drone" was unbearable. I swapped a guy for a factory exhaust. Now it's not much louder than stock which I like, but, always a but, it lost alot of power. What exhaust are...

Definitely!! And God forbid you put the wrong fluid that isn't designed for 27 dollars a quart or the self implode. Technology at its finest
  16. Unleashed, torquerules shift strategy

I thought the 10r80 was a conglomerate of toyota, chevy, and ford. Being Aisin being the manufacturer? Agree the ZF is a fantastic trans
  17. Unleashed, torquerules shift strategy

I've been running the 93 performance tune mainly. Really just working the bugs out. The 87 tow tune actually felt alittle more responsive just not the power of the 93 tune at higher rpm. As far as the shuddering, shaking, lugging, constant shifting up and down at low rpm, definitely gone...
  18. Unleashed, torquerules shift strategy

I came from a 8spd ram. Yes most will knock chrysler. But the 8spd is a great trans. The 10r80 in the ranger felt like complete trash comparative. Mine always banged 4 to 5th or 6th whichever it thought about shifting into. I actually thought there was something wrong with the trans. After this...
