Yeah I was looking at the one brand Stedi, but their switches aren’t rated for the same amperage as the DD one. Haven’t dug yet into whether you can add your own switch.
I have the following switch for my SS3 ditch lights: https://www.diodedynamics.com/light-duty-dual-output-offroad-wiring-harness.html
However, right now it’s sorta just dangling there. How has everyone else mounted their switch?
Does anyone happen to know the static/dynamic weight limit of the bed rails? I was looking at a cap or bed rack and I want to know if it's possible for a RTT back there. I assume you can, but it would be comforting to have an official number from somewhere.
I was able to reach the vertical adjustment screw (barely), but that horizontal one is not accessible at all when it’s assembled as far as I can tell.
Update: actually just needed to get that trim piece off a bit to reach the screws, was still a mother though. I’m surprised by the lack of posts related to installing these things given the fact that mine didn’t come with any install instructions and there’s none for the ranger on their site.
(Urgent as I currently have her taken apart)
I currently have the grille removed, and the next step is to remove the front upper bumper. I'm at the stage where you remove the two bolts inside the wheel well. In all the guides I'm finding online, the fender liner is already removed. I'm having...
This gets referenced a lot. I just checked it out for myself and i honestly have no clue how you’re supposed to access this grommet. It is so far back and buried behind other parts.
That makes a lot of sense. I did not do well in geometry class and this is my penance… At least the tires are the size and type I wanted and have a good bit of life left (although I could be mistaken about that as well)
In my mind, wouldn’t the more negative offset help as it pushes the wheels away from whatever it could hit? Being so dumb as to be accused of trolling was definitely the attitude adjustment I needed though ?
Lol I’m not trolling. That’s what he had. That’s why I threw out the idea that the offset was the issue. They’re these: https://www.motometal.com/moto-metal-mo962
Hello everyone!
I bought my ranger XLT used with the 18” performance wheels. No lift, with the crash bars still. I really like the look of the 17s so I picked up a set of wheels from someone on Facebook that are 265/70R17. Unfortunately when I did a test fit, the wheels impact the crash bars at...
So I was able to locate this plug kit: https://accessories.ford.com/products/drop-in-bed-liner-lower-plug-kit-1
But it is for the F-150. I can't seem to find the equivalent for the Ranger.
