The video was more for the weird slipping issue not so much the skip shifting that it does. I learned that skipping gears is common on this transmission. I can’t possibly see how that’s good for the clutch packs but who knows we’ll see.

I 100% agree. I do not understand why people destroy vehicles. You just took a lot of life out of the engine. If You take care of your vehicles they will take care of you.

I do not know what the pump would sound like. But I can tell you each time it goes to shift a gear you hear like a stepper motor like noise. The windows have to be down you can hear it.

I apologize if this has been addressed in another form. I am just curious to know if anybody else can audibly hear the shift solenoids shifting especially gears 1 through 5. The noise that I’m referring to kind of sounds like a stepper motor. I just need to know if other people experience this...

looking over this TSB, it looks very invasive. Did they have to take the trans out of the truck?

Can you please list the TSB number for the 2022 year? I would love to have that TSB done. So are you saying it should not skip second gear? I have never see a transmission do that before so if there is a fix that will correct that I want to have it done ASAP. That can't be good for the trans...

If the truck is brand-new and has under a certain amount of miles Auto SS is automatically deactivated.

The many reason I have the display on is because it is the only one that has the temp gauge. I know this is not a real temp gauge but it is better than nothing. I cannot believe they removed oil pressure and water temperature completely from the cluster.

I am going to put mine in this mode. Remote starts really help the engine tho, I am 100% ok spending a little more for gas to have a happy engine.

LOL. The 10R80 has a normal pan and fill plug on the side. I’m not sure where she’s getting that from. The transmission fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles because they’re using Merkon LV. That’s definitely when I’ll be changing mine. Drop the pan change the filter add new fluid. Never...

Thank you very much for your reply. I am glad I am not the only one having this odd set of symptoms. Yeah I for sure try to stay under 2500 RPMs MAX until the engine warms up. That is really hard on the engine to run it higher RPMs when it is cold.
