My wife hit a curb at like 3mph and it blew a hole in the sidewall of my Hankoook. Now Ford doesn't even seem to carry them anymore, my dealer can't even order them. For those of you with the retractable cover... Are the front tie downs blocked by the canister? If not, just in theory, how would you feel placing something against the canister and using the tie downs to hold it in place?
