Hah. Well Amazon had the DeeZee tailgate thing for $25 so I bought and put it on today. $25 seemed fair and as cheesy as people make it sound, I actually appreciate it for what it does. Especially for the Amazon price
I have a 2020 with 18000 miles and I’ve felt a small transmission bump too it’s really weird. How long/miles does the factory cover trannys? 5 years? My 3 year warranty deal is up this October I might opt to buy an extended if it makes sense with how few miles I put on it, wgat do you guys...
I just ordered these, hope they are decent. Pairing with a Kenwood KTP-445U amp and Kenwood DMX709S head unit. The speakers can handle a higher load than the amp can provide, but from what that little amp and the head unit did for the stock speakers alone, I can imagine it could only be better...
I ended up going back to the dealership and getting a Ford cabin air filter. Of course they were apologetic about the tech "forgetting" to do the 20k maintenance that I paid for...
Yeah be advised even if you buy a unit and the place says they will install for free you’re still going to pay like $500 extra for parts and extra labor to install Maestro, new sat radio equipment and a lot of misc extra parts. The Ford system does not talk with new head units, etc. Also choose...
Thanks guys, for reference too they kept or tossed the Ford cables. Also be aware to have Car Toys install a new HU, the install may be free of the HU only and they charge extra for the cables, Maestro Sync unit, SiriusXM receiver (they hooked it up to existing antenna, but the Ford receiver is...
ripped out my annoying 2020 8” factory head unit and replaced with a JVC HW-M780BH. Just an FYI a simple head unit swap will cost you about $800 in labor, cabling, Maestro unit and Sirius radio relay kit at CarToys because Sync3.
Anyone know what the used Ford unit is worth to sell?
After 15,500 miles my factory Bridgestone tires were refusing to stick to the road. Just crappy rubber. Still had tread, but got rid of them for Falken Wildpeak. They are softer rubber and stick line glue, loving them so far
Yeah its funny how ford engineers on here get so upset when people complain about their failures. As if its not a learning experience. Its just arrogance
