  1. 2024 Ford Ranger Will Debut North American Variant Of All-New Midsize Pickup

The problem is that the other manufacturers seem to be doing the same thing. The Gladiator especially would be nice as a scab as it is just too long, both practically and aesthetically, for some of us.
  2. Not even 3 years yet (2 weeks till) already found rust

A true statement, and a great album.
  3. Aggressive extended care sales / Turbo issues?

Which credit union, if you don’t mind saying?
  4. Are 2019 Rangers worth anything?

How do you like your Ranger? I have had a reservation on a Bronco since day one but haven’t pulled the trigger for a few reasons. I have been considering a Ranger Tremor instead.
  5. Convince Me To Buy One

I saw a review of the new Frontier on Youtube. He was generally complimentary, but did comment on (and show) the huge turning radius. I have also heard many comments on the tight steering, which some may like, but others not so much. The Ranger is also faster.
  6. Convince Me To Buy One

Have you checked carcomplaints . com? It’s a pretty comprehensive site, and issues reported for the Ranger are pretty minimal.
  7. Convince Me To Buy One

I had an Xterra. It was built like a tank, but it also rode like a tank. Those things will rattle your bones and chatter your teeth on bumps.
  8. Might be saying goodbye to my Ranger.

Agreed! The original Gladiator concept was extended cab, and looked much better than the 4 door - it’s too long.
  9. Ride Quality Complaints

I rented a base (non-FX, non-Tremor) Lariat for a few hours yesterday to get a good taste of how Rangers ride (too bad I couldn't rent a Tremor : ). The ride is very nice. I was especially impressed with how smooth it was on gravel. I drove up to 60 m.p.h. on gravel (would have gone faster...
  10. Ride Quality Complaints

    Ha! Nice Niki reference!
  11. Ride Quality Complaints

I had an Xterra. Harshest riding vehicle I have owned, and I have owned many. If the FX4’s ride is anything like that, it’s not good. But that’s good to hear about the Tremor.
  12. Ranger Tremor vs Bronco

Good to know about the shift points. Thanks. I have driven a Ranger, just not a Tremor. They are hard to find.
  13. Ranger Tremor vs Bronco

Wow! That's a nice family vehicle lineup! Thanks for the input. Good to hear.
  14. Ranger Tremor vs Bronco

I wouldn't expect a Ranger to be anywhere near an Audi on road, but conversely, I would like it to be considerably better than, say, a Nissan Xterra. I have driven a Ranger on a couple of test drives, and rented one for a couple of days. I thought it rode nice, except to when it came to...
  15. Ranger Tremor vs Bronco

That is a concern for me also. And as much as i like the convenience of being able to toss my bike (or bikes) innthe back of my Ridgeline, I am hesitant to give that up. Thanks for your input.
  16. Ranger Tremor vs Bronco

    I appreciate the input.
  17. Ford Maverick, Bronco and Honda Civic win North American Truck, Utility and Car of the Year

Thanks for the input. I suspect the coil suspension on the Bronco would also make for a smoother ride than the leaf springs do for the Ranger. Although I have read good things about the ride of the Tremor, and the others with better shocks (as you said).
  18. Ranger Tremor vs Bronco

If any of you have driven both the new Bronco and the Tremor, what do you think about the on-road manners of both?
