I'm looking at replacing my stock speakers and hoping to not run new cables. Most of the higher end components come with a separate crossover. I've had the door panels off a couple of times already now, but wondering if anyone has found space in there can save me the time of opening them up...

Was this on the base stereo? I had the one with the tiny screen. Just hooked up after market and stereo works fine. I was gonna forget about the backup cam til I read this. Also, how do you know which pins are which numbers?

I'm replacing the head unit, the main stereo. Just wondering if the fake engine noise runs thru the stock stereo or if the speaker wires are intercepted by another device some where

Am I correct to assume that when I replace the HU that should disable it as well?
