Dealership shop foreman told me not to worry about it. He made notes in case I ever came back with any breaking problems. I’ve towed it at least 5,000 miles and haven't noticed any braking issues.

I wasn't sure if it is paint or some metallic coating that might interfere with the RF.

Thought I would let you know that the direction of your fuse taps does not allow the tap fuse to fuse the circuit. Turning them around will. I checked this out with a multimeter and the right side of the factory installed fuses are the supply 12 volts.
