My problem is I have the ACC in the space I need lol and my family who works at the Dearborn testing site say don't move the ACC or itll throw codes. Thanks for the weight check.
I did a nationwide search. Everyone right now will do the remote paperwork thing and you can fly to it and drive back. I just purchased my 2021 Lariat Tremor while I have been in Japan, all remotely. Then I had family pick it up.
I'll take a fully boxed frame over the C channel/rotting frame of a Tacoma. I've owned 2 Tacomas, 2008 TRD sport and 2015 TRD Offroad. I have also owned a 2017 Colorado with the Babymax and believe me, I would hands down take the Ranger over those other trucks any day of the week and twice on...
Hey y'all, moving to Granbury area middle of July. Just purchased my 2021 SCrew Lariat Tremor about a week ago. Looking to meet up and do some off roading once I get settled in Granbury.
does anyone know if the differential cover on the Tremor is a different size then the stock one? I want this skid plate but wanna make sure it'll work. thanks y'all.
I am currently overseas so i haven't even sat in my truck. I just got mine 2 weeks ago, it's a 2021, and for the price of my Tremor Lariat Supercrew , there better not be any damn lights lol. My sister and brother in-law work for Ford in Dearborn. They just sent me a video of a brand new truck...
No worries. Good on you for asking. The tick is the pistons hitting their seat within the engine. The buzz has been attributed to the turbo. Drive it until the blinky lights come on, then worry lol. Enjoy your REAL TRUCK :)
You hear it. You're not crazy. It's the tick/buzz from these motors. Standard sounds from such a little powerplant/powerhouse. Try running a higher octane gas the next time you fill up and see if that helps with the tick. Other then that, you are good.
I was thinking of getting together with some Ranger folk and doing big bend or maybe the center Texas overland routes. It's be good to meet good like minded truck enthusiasts.
Glad I could help, what part of Texas you from?? I'm about to separate from the military and I am moving to Granbury. If we talked about this in another thread I am sorry. I suffer from multiple concussions/TBI's.
