I'll get it started same as last year six loaves of Homemade Polish bread from my 102 yr old mom's recipe. Fresh out of the oven. Still using her old mixer.
Early Merry Christmas to all. :like:
Have not had the need for one yet. So before the need arises (my 19 & 21 aren't getting any newer) I am in the market for an OBD 2 scanner. Suggestion for a purchase. What are you all using? Thanks. ?
Just like it says. Been a yr & 4 days since last change. This year's oil change I had 2,552 miles since last yrs change. That's about 565 more miles than the previous yr. :)
Got a CARFAX Car Care report on my 19 Ranger 116,511 est miles. Had to laugh & think, I only have 41,000 plus so at this rate it's going take me another 10 yrs +. Hope it last that long. ?
Time has arrived. 5yr's old this month. Even at zero percent financing it's nice to know no more payments. Still smiling. Also thanks for all the fun on this forum. :like:
I know this a Ranger forum but the Maverick has been talked about. So sitting at a red light today along comes a Maverick in cross traffic with 2x4's hanging out the back, tailgate was propped at about 1/2 position. They were at least 8 footers. So some people actually use it as a truck...
This is for the electronic minded. Basic stuff is ok, but when it comes to all of this computerized stuff I'm still in school. So that brings me to my point, on a Honda forum someone had talked about adding extra ground wires stating that it cleans the signals up for all the communication that...
I presently do not have that issue, but since I recently acquired a piece of material that when I saw it I said this has a purpose. The photos are of the first time just stick it up to get the idea. Much refining to do, but it might work. I think this is how Mike (FitzStick) started. ?
Our 2 yr old 21 CR V 37,351 miles has more miles than our 4 yr old 19 Ranger 37,075. Tis a sad day knowing it is not driven as much but makes me smile more when I do. I know you all thought this was going to be another bad tranny story or total job. Fortunately it is not. :whew:
I haven't seen anyone post anything. (may have missed it). This is my version. Using my truck bed pillow (not to be confused with the other kind on the market) for the cushion & a pool noodle split lengthwise to slip over the bed cover for back rest. Enjoy morning coffee afternoon cocktail of...
Not our Ranger but our 21 CR V. I will try to keep it short as possible but it is interesting. At 32000 the factory Hankook's were wore out. Not wanting to spend $1000 for a set of Michelins tire dealer gave me a price on a set of Blackhawk Streets out the door price w / road hazard for $572 &...
Was getting gas in our CR V today. Got out to pump gas & saw a silver Ranger at the pump on the other end. Thought if the owner came out I would ask him he liked it. So some dude comes out with a piece of pizza & a big drink kind of in a hurry, it was cool & very windy so I thought I would pass...
Good news bad news. We had an encounter with a low flying turkey. His time speed & distance was off. Good news it wasn't the Ranger, bad news it was our year old CR-V. I will find out the damages tomorrow. Dam bird flew away in to a field after it picked itself up off the road.
Edit : added...
A friend of mine came by the other day to help with a project. Needed to run out to the hardware store to get some more stuff so he offered to drive since he was in the driveway. He has a 19 F250 Super Duty Crew cab 4x4 with a 6 1/2 ft bed. Getting in was like climbing a ladder. Talk about high...
Got this in the mail yesterday. These quick lube joints must be hurting for business. Stay in your car & see it all it says. In about 15 mins. Not for me. No way ,no how.:crying:
Something I did not know. got a message today in my Ford Pass that my baby went into hibernation mode, I know winter is here & it is getting colder, but I have my battery maintainer on so my battery is up, but it has not been used for 14 days. so it does not seem to matter if the battery is up...
