Mine came with factory stuff, pulled straight up at clips and came right out. I’m storing them for when I decide in a decade time for a new truck lol
I live 1 mile up a 11° hill according to my off-road sensors. There’s a bridge 1/3 (start of bridge) ending at about 1/2 mile up it.... every time on a fresh fill I open er right up and let the horses run. Best run so far is 82mph up the incline as tears go from bridge to road.
Two things...
I experienced this once with mine. Was pulling into a handicapped spot to park as I had my grandma with me. I was trying to creep up on the spot without hitting the pole while learning the dimensions of the truck in relation to the end of the hood.
The truck was barely creeping as I was...

::Morgan freeman meme:: He’s right you know
^^ this, personally I used ford roadside. Let ford cover it. I did end up tipping the gentleman the second time. Poor guy, absolute saint. We had some awesome chit chat. As a side note the way ford pays is quite...

Phil I can always count on you for a smile good sir.
I’ve gotten used to it. My other half, oh the four letter words about lane assist.
I could be a good hubby and tell em where the off switch is but someone doesn’t wanna read the manual so welp I know nothing
The only part that...
In my experience:
I’ve used snow and mud on snow filled roads and on muddy insane seasonal roads on nice days.
snow I didn’t find so useful as was more about personal throttle control
the mud on the monstrous mud rut filled seasonal roads I’ve gone down as well as going out into dig fields...
So went out and experimented a bit
35mph cruise set on levels - twitch/jerk is there every 5-10 seconds
35mph cruise set on slightly varying road elevation - smooth as glass
60mph cruise set on levels - smooth as glass
60mph cruise set on slightly varying road elevation - smooth as glass...

I do have the adaptive cruise but when I go out in the small town I’m basically the only car on the road. And nothing indicating it’s picking up a vehicle in front of me in the display.
I’ll toy with the gears tonight when I go out. I don’t notice it...
So I’m an avid fan of cruise. Tons of reasons but I’ve been noticing something of late:
In town I set it to 34mph. It feels like I’m riding in a bronco bull.
best way I can describe it is well jerky.
on the highway at 70 cruise is smooth as a babies backside, in town I feel a jerky feeling...
Its honestly a compliment to the design. Sure may not be all new but sure is here. The best I think was at the dump when I rolled in with thousands of lbs of trash in a trailer. The woman just looked in awe and said “what kinda ford is this ain’t never seen one and that’s a lot of weight and you...
I was hoping someone would notice. He came over and talked to me for a bit and checked mine out. Was the first one he’d seen. He was pretty wowed over the new one.
still strange getting people coming up to me and talking about it
I got an awesome deal on mine in November.
Between xplan, rebates, and other programs I knew about: my 42k fully loaded XLT fx4 came in under 30k. To me the lariat wasn’t worth it (I hate leather seats in any vehicle now a days basically “leather sprayed junk” my 16 focus after less than 37k...
