Thanks, bud! :beer: :beer:
I thoroughly enjoy how quiet my truck is, especially going down the road at 2100rpm with 7psi of boost while towing. The drone of it would be horrendous without such a nice, quiet muffler. I'll leave the noise to the bikes in the trailer.
Phew! I thought I was going crazy(er)! But there's a spring loaded doo-dad in the muffler, huh? I would assume that WOT amounts of exhaust would push it open? Seems silly, but there's those NVH guys, again.
Where the hell is this???
Mid pipe would be between the downpipe and the muffler. I don't recall seeing that but I also wasn't looking for it when I tried my truck without a muffler (don't recommend).
* No, because the answer to the next question.
* Hybrid F150. More everything. Power, size, MPG, towing capacity, and the 7.2kW generator. I go to the track and not having to lug a giant (loud af) generator around will be the bomb.
* Nothing so far.
* I'm over 70,000 miles so far. I'm good.

Sitting at 70k myself, tuned since 30k and I tow. This is worrisome that it might happen to me, but I agree wholeheartedly. When an engine is making 150hp/L it's working hard. Hardly Ford's fault.
If it happens, I'll pay to fix it. It's a great truck, why wouldn't I? And the tune goes RIGHT...
From Texas to Michigan, towing my Z car, I got 7 mpg at the worst. Direct headwind and 75mph...
But the trip average was still in the 11s while going 70.
I didn't watch the video (can't stand that guy's voice), but WAS he going 55-60, or 70?
My buddy drives an 2nd gen I4 Toyota, 2005-2015. We went out to Buttonwillow raceway. He was hauling one bike in the bed of his truck, and I had three in my enclosed trailer. I passed him like he was standing still, going UP The Grapevine. There's no way even the most powerful Tacoma is gonna...
Replying to the original post, but I also had a (right) sway bar link fail, at about 58,000 miles. I have a 2.5" level kit, too. I wouldn't be surprised if they're related.
I'm excited for it. My GF is interested in getting one because my Ranger does more work than most F250s, anyways. She could get that and I would probably move to the F150 Hybrid (that onboard generator speaks to me).
I already heard one guy spouting bullshit about how "iT's NoT a tRuCk" but...
If I had a 93 tune and put 92 in it I would bitch and complain and piss and moan and still floor it away from every light. I mean, FFS I put 87 into my motorcycle with 13:1 compression. I didn't go WOT, but it's fine.
There's enough of a safety margin with the "custom" (not at all custom)...
