I've got a 2019 Crew Cab Lariat FX4 Off Road with (as far as I know) all the bells & whistles.
And my console gear shift does not light up.
I always thought it was because they (engineers) didn't want it reflecting on the windshield at night. Maybe I was wrong.
But I don't miss it; I can see my...
Thanks for the referenced pics on your previous posts.
I'm not sure I'm ready to mount everything up by the windshield, but I do appreciate the looks to help me decide.
Come on now, have you not taken a long trip lately and appreciated road reports on CB?
Or, maybe you don't have CB?
Anyway, how does that contribute to the thread of a pretty darn nice install?
I've been looking for something like this antenna mount, thank you for bringing it to my attention...
Hummmm.... Yup, sure, you're right, of course. Could happen to anyone.
Or, your wife finally saw this thread and gave you hell for blaming her!
As she should!
BAD post!
Just kidding. I hope you figure out what's going on.
But this is really a pretty tough truck.
I'd be surprised if there's any...
Nah, I was just badmouthing him about the "to be continued" marketing when he grabbed our interest at the end of the video!
I'm sure we'll find out if his plan to get by the washout was 'genius' or 'moronic' in Part 4!
Me, I'm suspecting he still had some work to do before he got by the washout...
What!!??? To be continued...!!!???
He got to a washout, built a berm of branches/stones/plastic ramps and is about to go for it, dumb or genius, and 'end of story'???
To be continued.
That's not fair.
I don't blame you for being cautious about what you post here lately. It seems folks sure are opinionated, and a bit less than civilized now a days.
I've played with 'Lane Keep Assist', for about a year, and am still wondering whether I like it or not.
So far, It seems really slow to react, and...
Well, I did the master reset, and it looks like it worked!
NAV voice, and everything seems happy now.
Of course it took me about 2 hrs to restore things to the way I like them; including the time it took for the Ford, Att, SeriusXM, etc.. servers to get over the shock.
I got so many...
Yup, makes sense, thanks for the reply.
But, I've already re-installed (let it run for 2hrs; 1/2hr with the 'complete' message on the display). I also went into diag and the 14G422 (Nav voice?)is listed. Now, if I try to reinstall, I see the 'Updating System Software' for 1 second, then the...
Hummm... you lost me there.
Why would a re-install fix the problem, if, as you say, the issue is the files are not there to begin with.
In my case, I checked the USB I bought for $40, and, according to the other thread, all the voice files seem to be there. So, now what? Ya, I know....Weeks of...
I have the same issue.
I've reloaded Sync 3.4 and Nav 19 again, with no gain of NAV voice commands; which I know I used to have.
I don't use them, so I don't know when I lost them.
I bought the NAV 19 USB and it seems to have all the files?
But I'd be surprised if re-trying a USB reload solves...
Just thought I'd thank you folks for your expertise regarding pulling someone (or myself) out of being stuck. For decades, I thought I was equipped to do so, but NO.
After reading about Bubba Rope/Soft Shackles, etc, I felt under equipped.
Am awaiting my $300 order for proper equipment.
Thanks...
Thanks for the explanation Brisko-Michigan.
And to the rest of you guys ......
Soft-Shackles - 30,000lb rating! I LIKE 'EM !
Shit, I thought I was done buying stuff for this truck!
See ya
Hummmm... I'm a little confused.
What ya'll call D rings I, as a Navy Vet, call shackles; but we're talking about the same thing.
I have D rings in my toolbox, and a heavy duty snach strap.
My D rings fit my Lariat's front tow rings and my 2" rear receiver hitch (without ball).
Why, again...
I had the same issue. I noticed that if I pushed the deflector a bit, the window went up OK; it was getting hung on the edge of the deflector. I noticed the passenger deflector edge wasn't as tapered as the driver's side where the window goes by. So, I used a file to taper it a teeny bit more...
Yup, that's what I think they did.
I don't think it REALLY matters, as that screw is more for alignment than holding anything.
I thought about going to the hardware store for a shorter screw, but I installed with both shims, so the screw would seat.
I don't regret it, the extra space gives me...
