Funnily enough your mod list is very similar to mine. Some other ideas for you:
- Molle panels for the bed, really helps with storage. I got them from Built Right industries.
- Rock sliders instead of those steps. I actually liked the steps but decided they had to go after the first Jeep trail...
The difference with the Bronco is that the Bronco has some wires pre-run to different parts of the vehicle. On the Tremor they are all in one place under the hood. So if you want something in the bed or on the roof you'll need to run your own wire. Otherwise they are all color coded with their...
I had some damage in that exact spot from a tree branch I hit backing up on a trail. Decided to fill the hole with body filler to waterproof it and put some red vinyl wrap material over it. Looks fine now and it's hardly noticeable, unless you're looking for it. Now I'm just waiting until I...
Here's my update, finally had some time and dry weather to put them on. Looks very good and not too hard to get on the truck. I'm pretty confident they'll hold up on the trail.
Some people have made fun of me for permanently carrying my recovery gear in the back of my truck. Today I had the last laugh as I was able to rescue a 2wd 4Runner that had gotten stuck in the snow (in the Bay Area of all places!).
I tried my recovery boards first but they were dug in too deep...
Here are mine. Currently got 2 layers of primer on, next step is top coat and then mounting.
Altogether HMF has made a great impression and was very good about communicating during the fabrication process. We'll see how everything lines up when I get them on the truck!

I have this one mounted up front under the passenger seat. It's a perfect fit and totally out of the way. Only mod was I had to drill through some plastic that's under the seat, but you can't see that at...
I participate regularly in Cal4Wheel events and can definitely recommend it. The winter event usually gets more snow but this time around it seems a lot of it melted because of the rain. Either way it's a great event in a beautiful location!
I participated in the 'Winter Fun Fest' organized by the California Four Wheel Drive Association. Weather was bad (lots of rain) but we also got some snow. As usual mine was the only Ranger, leading a pack of mostly Jeeps.
We explored some nice locations in the gold country - unfortunately due...
Glad I found this thread - I've also been waiting on my order for 6+ months. Couldn't get in touch with anyone so I decided to cancel. Shame because I was really hoping to have them on before my Sierra expedition this weekend.
Took the ranger on a camping trip in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Also did a number of Jeep trails (with a group). Everything went very well, and despite some initial scepticism from some guys in lifted Jeeps on 35s, the humble Tremor had no issues at all even on the 'difficult' rated trails...
I found this thread because I'm facing a similar issue. Decided to go with this: https://www.jcroffroad.com/product/RG4CCMP.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwidSWBhDdARIsAIoTVb1-_cScqsDSa-oocF_LztVq1ucedwqFyx14Zxbxs6uHFZf9B6UM2gUaAj_kEALw_wcB
Will update when installed!
Installed the BuiltRight molle panels. In theory an easy install, but it was made a lot harder by the spray in bed liner that had clogged up the torx bolts in the bed. I ended up scraping/picking out the liner from the bolts so the T40 would actually fit, which took more effort than I had hoped...
