  1. For the "Tuned" Ranger crowd - What's your Avg. MPG ?

Yeah, tires diameter and weight. I forgot the weight difference but the same size 285/70/17 K03 cost me 1-2mpg from the K02. All the red lights around me kill my city mpg. Today's driving around I managed a 16.2mpg in the cluster. So maybe 15.0-16.0 actual.
  2. Employee pricing for all

lol that is my exact thought, Bronco and even Bronco Sport (of all vehicles) had markups when new. I just hope the people paying the F150 Raptor markups of +$20k are wealthy and it doesn't make a financial dent on them. Then I can at least understand, it is what it is. If someone only has...
  3. Employee pricing for all

The markups are so ridiculous. Maybe a year or two ago they even had them on regular Bronco Sport. Raptors are so ridiculous, at least on the west coast. My buddy just bought a F150 Raptor 37" package for $6k under MSRP but had to buy from a dealer in Wisconsin. Dealers in CA where he lives...
  4. Hit and run while parked...

This. Not to mention this isn't just a street car, it is a truck that looks built for trails. Could a shock shaft be bent, leaf springs, etc.
  5. Hit and run while parked...

Man, I would have someone measure the chassis to make sure it is all still straight. Man, people suck sometimes. This is just my guess, especially since the front bumping the curb shouldn't knock the alignment off, since it could have climbed it easily. 1: the rear axle is no longer...
  6. JXB Driveshaft Center Support

I wonder if any of you guys take the truck to a driveshaft shop and have them balanced, would the issue go away completely. I can't image it cost too much. Even if it was $200, would be great to do anyway. Never saw this product before but will keep it in mind. The issue I have is that I...
  7. For the "Tuned" Ranger crowd - What's your Avg. MPG ?

Actually coming back from CA today, head wind for 25% and tail wind for 75%, got 22mpg before getting off the fwy and getting coffee on the way home. Ended with 21.5mpg. Math will probably work out to 21mpg so not bad. Going home is an increase altitude too. I peaked at 22.8mpg before I hit the...
  8. For the "Tuned" Ranger crowd - What's your Avg. MPG ?

That seems insane, wish I could do that. With the amount of red lights I get, I'm Lucky to get 16mpg in the city, driving it easy. Without towing, I'm happy with 20mpg hwy. Stock Tremor used to be about 22mpg but leveled one inch but more importantly heavy 33" k03 did the truck no favors, lost...
  9. Help me pick out rims !

Man, that bead grip is no joke. We have methods on our '23 Pilot and when they were airing the tires up, I could see it took some air pressure to get the tire to seat itself. If I were replacing my wheels, I would be looking for a wheel with their bead grip feature...
  10. Ford Performance Tune

Out of curiosity what was the Pilot doing? We have a '23 Pilot AWD Touring but it has been solid. Just hate the nanny features and that it gets the same MPG as our lifted '16 Pilot AWD. Sometimes I wish we never traded that one in. For what its worth, I have had random hard downshifts, usually...
  11. Anyone Towing a Teardrop?

Man, got me missing our NoBo.... The batwing awning with walls with a propane firepit made for a great time when it was cold outside (under 40F still comfy). (Edit: miss that Pilot too, upgraded to a '23 and eh, pro and cons).
  12. Anyone Towing a Teardrop?

I had a NoBo 10.6 which was easy for how 2016 Pilot AWD. I can tell you that thing will be a breeze on the Ranger. That said, I still recommend a weight dist. hitch. I tow a GeoPro 19BH now with the Ranger.
  13. 10R80....Are they all ticking time bombs?

Nice looking color, if I had the chance to get a RR, one of the hardest decisions would be which color to get. There are a good 2-3 colors I could be happy with. Bummed they got rid of the blue/grey color for 2026.
  14. Engine shot - Coolant intrusion - 74k miles on my Ford Ranger 2.3L I4 xlt

Yeah, long block is what he would need. That's all they did when my engine failed, but I had a rod bearing issue not a head gasket issue. I guess if the oil got contaminated, that's a turbo too he may need.
  15. 3 Weeks Into My 2025 Raptor

lol well with VGK being a new team the year we moved here, when they built the rink 8 min down the road, we thought it would be fun to teach them to skate. That is where they got us. Like $300 and they gave the kids all the gear needed to play. Not so now at 10 years old. One my my boys has a...
  16. 3 Weeks Into My 2025 Raptor

Oh man, I don't even know how travel parents do it. Regular hockey with fees is over $2k/year plus gear they out grow. Plus one is a goalie so his pads will be getting expensive this next size up. Travel kids, at least in Vegas are in the +$10k/year just to be on the team. One of the dads on...
  17. Nevada Used engine covers -

Man, I kinda want to try that exhaust lol
  18. 3 Weeks Into My 2025 Raptor

Awesome looking truck, the only 6G I would want. Looks like you lucked out with the previous owner. Yeah if money was no thing, It would be hard to not just go get a RR. Since my two boys play youth hockey, I don't plan on upgrading any time soon
  19. Engine shot - Coolant intrusion - 74k miles on my Ford Ranger 2.3L I4 xlt

Man, I wonder what the repair parts and labor breakdown looks like. It looks like a complete engine from Levittown Ford is $3400 but has an MSRP of $4132. Certainly there are misc parts on top of that too but curious how many hours of labor they are billing for at a total of just over $12k...
  20. Engine shot - Coolant intrusion - 74k miles on my Ford Ranger 2.3L I4 xlt

For what it is worth, my replacement engine has 20k miles on it now and all has been well.....Well that is after they actually bolted the trans mount to the cross member. I love the truck, since about 8-10k miles on the engine I started doing upgrades because I have no plans to sell it. I...
