Make sure the issue was documented. The service manager can likely go back into the work order and add comments if they did not open a new work order to inspect it. I would save a hard copy as well should you need to get an engine good willed later on due to a failed bearing.
Man, adding to...
Man dude, must make for a fun truck! That must put it close to or better than this F150 Hybrid I am in and this thing is pretty quick down low in the RPM range.
Well, in 2001 in CA gas was $0.99/gal for 91 thankfully because my daily driver was a 66 Mustang, then with the 289 and 3spd manual lol (still have it). Man I would just love it if 91 got down to $3.00/gal for 91 here in NV. Would cover a good amount of my coffee expenses.
I was a Benz tech and I sure have seen my share of hacks and crooks. Not all of them are like that but it just takes a few bad apples. I always worry about who will be working on my Truck when I take it in. I still take it to the dealer for liability reasons. If they mess it up, they are more...
Well, 5 weeks at the dealer and still do not have my Ranger RIP. Feel like they are not being transparent at this time. I was told Friday 11/15 they damaged the Radiator and ordered a new one coming from LA (one state over, next day ground is normal for me as I ship a lot).
So Monday comes, I...
Funny enough we got rear ended in the f150 loaner we are in. Thankfully my WDH was on it because the truck took ZERO damage and their little SUV had both air bags go off, their front end looked pretty bad but maybe not totalled. Even the 10k WDH looked unharmed. The receiver pin was bent though...
Sand Hollow is fun, whether we RV camp inside the park or Airbnb a home across the street at the golf course, just a good time being out there. I forgot this spots name but near Top of the World.
Oh yeah totally. I put K02 285/70/17 with about 10k miles on my Tremor then at like 42k miles did the K03. They were still above the wear bar but I just like changing tires early. The K03 on-road impressed me, it feels more stable on sweeping freeway onramps and cuts through puddles better...
Man, please let me know because if it really makes a difference, I would spend the $200 or so. I would probably get the adult version as well lol. The OEM version I can faintly hear and that is enough for me. I dunno, maybe if I heard one in person vent to atmosphere.
No kidding, this loaner F150 I am in has the 3.5L Hybrid setup and in Sport mode, for a truck it sure has some pull. I am surprised the coyote 5.0L swap hasn't gotten popular here. Seems like Australia and Thailand perhaps are the two countries that I have seen videos with them. I wish I had the...
I cheated and went to the end but watching it from the start. Glad the K03 did so well. I had K02 before and can tell the wet on-road is better. Cuts through puddles noticeably better. Haven't had them in snow yet but was glad to see them do so well. Most likely they will see some snow this season.
Was news to me too a few weeks back. Unless Fox does something different with the Ranger shocks. There was a thread or two in here about it. Here is a link I quickly found. At least they can be rebuilt though. There is a company around here that does it mobile I may use. Maybe see what he can do...
That is a pretty cool kit. If someone wanted to make their own, those connectors are used on electric pallet jacks. Looks like Amazon and Harbor Freight to the rescue.
Connectors...
It may not be the solution you are asking about but I get this on the Ranger battery easily. I personally use a capacitor based jump starter. The storage temperature range was what made this great for me and that I can charge it with a weak battery too...
Dude if I was looking for a Cap, I think I would HAVE to buy that GFC one based on how entertaining the video you shared was  Reminded me a bit of the Old Spice ads.
I am not sure how heavy these types usually get but ~130lbs seemed pretty reasonable for what it is.
While I run a 285/70/17 and it fits in the stock location, if you are going with a larger tire, give Rigid Armor a look.
They did not seem to have the Ranger listed but he can custom make it. He custom made one for my Honda Pilot after I gave him some easy to do measurements...
