lol!! Tried that! Couldn’t find any that were precise enough ??
they are actually bolted on there pretty good with tons of loctite. So I’d be scared that would take a few other things with it loll
Got them off today. Fairly easy to do. 3 bolts per guard on mine.
1 8mm and 2 10mm.
1 on th bracket.
1 outside the crash bar
And one behind/ above the crash bar.
fairly simple but a shitty spot to get a ratchet into!
looks 10x better IMO. And will be even better once leveled.
excellent! Thanks for the info. Truck looks waaaay better without them I think.
never really noticed until one day I couldn’t stop noticing. Now it’s bother me ?
reviving an old thread here. Just curious as I’ll probably remove mine this weekend. Is it just the 2 bolts I see? One for the bracket and one beside the crash bar?
Can anyone give me some Intel on how to remove these? I’ve tried searching but whenever I search air dam all that comes up is the FX2 air dam. I’m sure it’s fairly straight forward, I just like to research things to death before I do them so it goes smooth
(at least that’s what I hope for ??)
I’ve read some conflicting reviews. So if anyone with tremor level experience could enlighten me that would be awesome.
Does the 2 inch level sit perfectly level or slightly tail heavy? Seems like a lot? I’ve seen some forums show a 1 inch making it level and some stating the 2 inch does.
I’m...
just about bottomed the tremor out on the steps. Wide angle makes it look fairly flat but steep hill with dip on the backside. Time for the steps to go before they remove themselves. ? perhaps a 2 inch level may help slightly as well!
So out of curiosity, in what scenario do you think the trail control would be actually beneficial?
I’ve played around with it a few times for fun, but curious what people think would be a scenario where it would be a game changer.
only time I’ve every really used it out of need was to descend...
Hate to hijack the thread, but i've been looking into doing the touchless washes as a good rinse, but worried about damaging my ceramic coat. The weather here in BC has been horrendous for washing, plus i live in an apartment building with underground parking... so no real place to wash anyways...
