Nobody stopped ford from making a solid LS competitor, but Ford wasted too much time on the modular/triton platform. I won’t say coyote swaps are uncommon, but they’re certainly more expensive and don’t have the same aftermarket support that the LS platform does. It may feel wrong to swap an LS...
It may be blasphemy, but as a former LS-driver, I see the appeal. They're simple to work on, have endless aftermarket support, and make power pretty easily.
LS swap the world!
Not discouraged. Most scales have pullouts close by for this reason. CAT app charges $12 for first weigh then $3 for every additional, in a 24 hour period. They fully accommodate people to do multiple rounds with and without trailers to get their loads balanced right.
This article is a whole lot of nothing, it serves to further the anti-EV narrative and confirmation bias of those who don't like them. Nothing more, nothing less.
I guess this would work for those who don't have a scale nearby. I'm lazy and live close enough to a truck stop that I'd rather just go hit the CAT scale.
This is not normal for off roading. I wheel my Ranger very often on steep trails with lots of bumps, off camber, etc. and have never gotten this warning. Definitely get it checked out.
Not familiar with those. I have an upfitter controller from Auxbeam that works well. Fuse box goes in the engine bay, just run a cable from the engine bay to the controller in the cab, way cleaner wiring that way and don't have to constantly route new cables through the floor every time you buy...
I saw a new GMC Canyon Denali the other day and while the exterior styling will need time to grow on me, I was really impressed with the interior. Very high quality leather. Good steering wheel feel. Large + responsive infotainment screen. Glad to see the mid size pickup segment competition...
Couple quick mods for the weekend. Once again, thanks to @Colo_Ranger for the help.
#1 is a Mishimoto/Borne Off Road snorkel
#2 is a bull bar mounted GMRS antenna. Currently mounted just because it looks cool, I'll get it wired up tomorrow.
