I have the factory side steps, still get rock chips. I put on a set of Rock Bloks mud flaps. It has helped, but I still get some. Some are on weird spots: rear of bedside, roof, door handle pocket. Ford seems to skimp on paint, seems rather thin to me.
When you rotate the tires is there a programming step needed after so the truck's computer relearns which wheel is at which corner for tire pressure monitoring??
Beware when you go to install them. There are some omissions in the video & in the pdf directions that make it difficult. Ask me how I know. Also had a malformed hole in one of the rear brackets that allows the nut to fall out if you even look at it.
No, round driving lights like PIAA, KC Hilites, or the big round ones NAPA has. Bar to mount underneath & back from the plane of the bumper but comes up in front of the bumper with holes or tabs to bolt the lights to.
I changed mine last week & had a lot of difficulty getting a reading because so much oil clings to the stick along a good stretch of the length. You can feel the stick rubbing against stuff inside as you insert it & pull it out. Any tricks??
