  1. Tansmission CDF Drum Issues: Does Ford use Updated Parts?

Mine got a new driveshaft as well while they were wroking on the transmission. Wondering what's happening with the driveshaft. Seems like a lot of people are getting them replace recently.
  2. Tansmission CDF Drum Issues: Does Ford use Updated Parts?

Just had my valve body changed and the shifts are smoother, but the issue with 3-4-5 is starting up again. I'm waiting for it to be slightly worse again before taking my truck back to the dealer.
  3. How Many Have Gone From Ranger to F150? Hybrid Specifically.

I know this is not an F-150, but it might help you get insight on off roading a full size truck. I like my ranger tremor, but I will be moving up to a full size for my next truck and it won't be a Ford until Ford fixes most of their QC issues. I find myself cursing at the size of the bed too...
  4. Finally a Ford TSB to Try and Fix our Transmission Problems (TSB 24-2046)

Mine is getting a new Valve body at 43 000km's (26 000 miles). Reported to the dealer that I was having issues with 4th gear, they pulled the code and did a quick drive and ordered the part. Service rep was telling me they were seing a lot of transmissions problems with Ranger that tow or...
  5. Stuck

    Nice job on the recovery!
  6. Diamondback Covers

Installed mine a couple of months ago and installed the headache rack yesterday along with some extra cleets. Love it so far.

  8. Tremor XLT Floormat

Thanks for the reply, I ended up buying some Husky mats and I really like them.
  9. What's the fastest you've made it to 10k miles?

For me it was my first car. A 2001 honda civic coupe. Put 16 000KM (10 000mi) in just under 2 months. We lived far from everything and I really like driving. So as any 16 year old would do, I drove all the time everywhere for no reason. Ended up putting 250 000km (156 000mi) on top of the...
  10. Fox 2.0 Rear Shock Issue

Is it worth it? Do you really feel the difference?
  11. Fox 2.0 Rear Shock Issue

Those service intervals are brutal! I'm overdue on almost all of them.
  12. Tire recommendations

@craw169 Please get a good set of winter tires and then some all season tires like the yokohama geolandar G015 or any of the motomaster tires in stock at the local canadian tire. I'm not too far from you and we can see ice and snow for 6 months a year. I think it justifies a good set of winter...
  13. The ZR2 SPEC-R3

I think it's more Elon Musk names his kids like people name their truck ;)
  14. BFG KO3's

Looks nice! Do you plan to offroad with them? I've been waiting for someone to get their hands on them and try them.
  15. Anyone with problems with General Grabber tires?

Agreed. Lucky for me, one of my tire has a patch and I can keep track of how they do the rotation lol. They cross rotate.
  16. Anyone with problems with General Grabber tires?

Mine are... ok. I will not be replacing them with another set of grabber's when the time comes. They started off super quiet with good traction in sand, rocks, wet and winter. I now have 31 000km's on the truck (19 000mi) and half the thread is gone. The started humming pretty bad over 80km/h...
  17. Choose Your Own Adventure Book: Buying a Raptor

It was me and the Dr ;) And I know!! I parked my ranger next to the colorado at the dealer when I tried it and they are so close, but siting in it, for me at least, it feels much smaller, especially in the back seat, even when the specs are saying otherwise. I don't know if they have 2nd gen...
  18. Choose Your Own Adventure Book: Buying a Raptor

It's not you, the interior of the new Colorado and Canyon are smaller than the current ranger. I also find the interior storage abysmall and the seating not good. But man it rides nice, the bed has stake pockets and plenty of tie downs. Power feels super linear and good, the aftermarket is...
  19. SSM 51754 2023 Bronco/Ranger/Explorer - 2.3L Engine - Loss Of Coolant With Coolant In Oil - Built On 27-Mar-2023 And Through 18-May-2023

Hahahaha, my grandpa did that on his Chevy 1500. It lasted 8 years and 250 000KM (155 000 miles). The frame roted out before the j-b weld gave out.
  20. Trailer lights always on while towing?

My ranger behaves the same in regard to trailer light, as soon as I go out of park, all lights turn on. I quite like it.
