My Tremor is soon to arrive.
Looking for winter wheels and tires. I don't want to drop money on those dumb tire computers.
I run no TPMS in my Jeep, just has the little tire gauge light on in the dash, barely noticeable. That's the only side effect.
So if I run no TPMS in a new Ranger, what's...
Show me on this doll where Jeep touched Ford...
As an owner of both products, with love/hate for both products and their fanatics, I do find the internet screeching on the topic hilarious.
Well, time to go back to the Ford "build section" and look at floor mats, bed dampers, and stickers (wink...
I'm kinda cheating here because I have liquidated lots on my motorized collection in the last month. I've sold off my Mitsubishi "Shitsubishi" Overland project before I started. I'll be selling at least one of the Jeeps, might turn the other into a "Buggy". The zodiac just sold. The JetSki well...
I didn't post anything, because I didn't want to register.
But I did search tons of threads on a few Ram forums, everyone seems to think bigger is better, but a mid sized or quad cab full size is doable.
I agree that more room is superior when isolating just cargo, but driving in tight places...
I'd drive both if you can. I ended up test driving a few used ones before I ordered.
I don't like the ride on the standard/sports. If I only drove those, I wouldn't get a Ranger.
Then I drove an FX4, fantastic. Improved the driveability in every way.
So I would pick the FX4. And always like...
OP here,
I agree that a minivan is king for kid kommuting.
Butttt like I said, I live in Alaska. I tow. I get muddy and nasty and bloody.
I need a truck with a bed. I want a Ranger. But I might live easier in a full size.
I can do with little, but live is easier with more. We'll see
My...
What year was your Ram? Where was it rusting and are you from an area that salts roads heavily?
I'm getting flashbacks from growing up in Pennsylvania hahaha. Seasonal can of krylon for the underbody haha
I have the same joke. It's how I rationalized a new truck purchase with my wife even though I have 2 old Jeeps.
Jeeps are like preacher's kids... Once a Jeep hits adulthood (18 y/o), it thinks it's hot stuff and wants to do it's own thing and becomes a degenerate.
If my WJ wasn't about to start nickel and diming me, I probably wouldn't be looking at a new truck.
I do love my Jeeps, I've had many in my 16 yrs of driving: 89 YJ, 01 XJ, 04 WJ, 05 KJ. Also drove my brothers ZJ, x2 TJ, and XJ a bit.
Great vehicles of you like quirks, rust, and superior...
OP here,
I appreciate all the responses l, especially those who have gone through this, and especially especially those who have the Ranger in the same situation I'm in.
You have all helped.
Couple things, I am not against minivans, but I need something with a bed that can tow. In the...
The two local Warlocks have the crappy axle ratio... Can't remember, so it must be the 3.21. Towing capacity would be ~4500#. Which stinks, but it's still within what I would need.
I did drive it, it did fine. Not gonna win any races, but more guts than my old jeeps and more power delivery than...
I have my first kid on the way. I've mentioned before, I have a Tremor on order. Hopefully here in October.
I love the Ranger, wanted one for years.
But, my wife has a small Jeep Renegade. It's staying. I'm worried a Ranger might be too small for a growing family in Alaska where gear and...
