I'm in the habit nearly 100% of the time of turning the S/S Off when I start up my Ranger. It's pretty much second nature now. I still get 22.7+ MPG so I can live with that.
No, Alignmnet was specifically called out after kit and Installation cost. Guess I could call my Ford dealer and see what they want after the lift to see if it's much less.
I was quoted $350 for a 2.5 inch Leveling lift for kit and Installation, Plus $130 for alignment. I have a Lariat 4x2 SuperCrew. Is this a reasonable price?
BTW, do I have to refocus the headlights with this lift?
Nope! Not and have it Street legal in the USA! Engine wouldn't be compliant, No telling what crash compliance would be needed, etc. Off road, display or other non-driving purposes wold be possible but are costly and rare.
I got that. Didn't accuse you of addressing any member. But the Meme has gotten out of hand and I was clarifying the desire those of us who want a Damper on the Tailgate. Not dogging anyone.
NONE of us have “an issue” lowering the tailgate. Let’s get THAT straight right now! But MANY of us have had the convenience of a damper on the tailgate and appreciate the feature for what it provides.
There’s another thread with a different guy promising to make a damper. Not getting my hopes up because he’s been promising to get it done “this week” for a couple weeks now. Not bashing him because he’s not a manufacturer or aftermarket seller. Just a guy who fabricated a damper himself and...
I'd go to a shop that installs the Clear Film protection and have them custom cut some pieces to fit the front of the box edge. That stuff protects well and wouldn't break the bank.
