I've also looked at them, as they seem to be the only option for a wider window to allow access to the back with a canopy.
I'm not sure about structural integrity, though, in case of rollover, compared to the stock window.
None of the bluetooth transmitters (or USB to 3.5mm adapters) worked for me -- I tried several --, except Naviks's USB interface. It's pricey, but worked immediately.
Thanks. I'm not running anything off of the car battery. I'm only using the solar charge controller to maintain normal operating voltage, since my car sits for a while at a time without running. The battery voltage continues to drop low pretty quickly (as most on this forum can attest, since the...
To update, i ended up connecting a Rich Solar 20A MPPT controller: the battery output going to the car battery.
HOWEVER, when I checked with Rich Solar to verify that the controller can withstand startup voltage spikes from the alternator, they said to NOT connect a vehicle battery to the...
Yeah, exactly, but that was the "deflection" part I was referring to :D
Deflection around an object is different than entering a small area.
I agree deflection happens, but the back pressure from a cushion of air (in an enclosure) needs to be bypassed, in order to allow air to push into a small...
Hmmm, it doesn't work this way: if it did, then we could put a pinhole only instead for the radiator, and super high-pressure air would be going through it :D
The difference with the hose is that the pressure of an uncompressible medium (water) is restricted in a hose while under tremendous...
Are the 2019+ rangers susceptible to the same lock vulnerabilities as the earlier gens?
If yes, has anyone installed lock security plates?
Here's an example plate set. This one does NOT fit the 2019+ ranger.

Again, the link above...
Yes, thank you -- but I don't trust what data Ford is accessing by connecting to the phone directly (USB still exposes the file system and all data on the phone). Their privacy policy is fairly clear about the broad scope of data they may access. That data can't be accessed through 3.5mm audio :)
Project # 3: Adjustable Bed
This is a wood bed that expands sideways and lengthwise, depending on use.
Each side is made up of 3x panels normally, or an optional 4th detachable section to make the bed about 7 feet long.
All the following images show the canopy raised ~20"off the vehicles's...
Thanks all for the thoughts. In reading other forums (eg F150) it's becoming clear that bluetooth with non-phone devices is flaky and doesn't work well.
For anyone else looking in the future, here are some links:

The best solution seemed to be the Naviks devices, eg this...
I have XLT with tech package, so no Aux 3.5 mm input.
In trying to find a solution to connecting 3.5mm-jack audio devices to Sync 3, several people on this forum recommended 3.5 mm --> bluetooth transmitters, and then pairing the bluetooth transmitter to Sync3. That way, we can listen to 3.5 mm...
You're right, speaker wire is not the right thing.
Usually, it's called something like "hookup wire". Silicon insulation is nicer than nylon, but not necessary. Here's a random example link -- it's totally random example, so I'm not specifically advocating for this particular product, even...
