Can you post the part numbers and Instructions on how to do this or is there a link that shows you how to do this any help would be appreciated thanks.
Yea totally agree on them handling quite well in snow. But there is a limit to what software can do and these chains are my way of hedging in case I need more. Notification this morning said expect 2-4 feet where I am ?.
...it where the others didn’t. 95% of the time they all have to winch themselves up. As others have stated the Tremor (or FX4) have terrainmanagement so it’s not like it has a complete open diff up front anyways. Again, you’re overstating the usefulness of a front locker for 99% of off roading...
...Ranger for a few weeks now.
Let both of my 20 sumn adult kids drive and wheel it on a few dirt roads.
4 wheel low, rear locker, terrainmanagement and trail control all worked.

They took a vote and both like the "sport mode"...
HI GK,
When we created the FX4, my prototypes has a front torsen differential. Bean counters had the fire hydrant syndrome...they had to leave their mark on the FX4 "hydrant". So we gave up the front diff. Beanies were happy they did their job. We had tested with and without front diff...
...Controller 6 Shooter in the mail so I don't have to worry about mounting switches and running wires through the firewall. My terrainmanagement upgraded also got completed now that the switch arrived. Didn't get the switch for the $50 it used to be but $80 was better than what Ford was charging
As mentioned previously, unless you're doing serious rock crawling, there's a near-zero set of circumstances where TerrainManagement won't perform just as well, if not better, than a *FRONT* locker, especially if you already have a rear locker.
Front lockers are so incredibly limited in their...
...now and the ride is absolutely perfect! If I were you and I wanted to do an FX4 type package on your 4x4:
-Eibach suspension
-TerrainManagement switch (turned on with FORscan)
-Rear locker (you can buy a rear end from a wrecked FX4, install it under your truck, and turn the rear locker on...
I did the terrainmanagement upgrade and i can say its worth it for what it does. Some members dobt like it but then again you cant expect a Rolls Royce when you buy a 1972 Ford Pinto lol.
Hey all,
I've seen that you can purchase the TM switch. I'm assuming this doesn't magically unlock the TM software itself. Anyone know if that is something that can be turned on? Like through Forscan or something?
Thanks
