I made a bracket for a fuse and a breaker up in front of the battery. You only need to protect the wire with a fuse, but I wanted the breaker to act as a disconnect. This way I can keep things powered down in back when things are getting rowdy or I am working on the circuit. There are some nice...
I was able to use the molle nuts from Builtright without any other brackets. You can kind of see it tucked under the bottom left bolt.
This was my temporarily permanent solution except the power from the battery wasn't terminated on the distribution block. I removed all of the locker wiring...
Yeah, Garmin is pretty proud of the PowerSwitch at $400. But, I would pay the extra $165 to not have to run wires through the firewall and gain the ability to control things through the display the truck already has. Seems like a really clean install. To gain switches in the bed, you could mount...
They're pretty proud of it, but I've been looking at the Garmin PowerSwitch. I plan to get the Garmin Tread for mapping so having the ability to control the switches from that unit, my phone, or Android Auto on the dash is a feature I would appreciate. I don't actually have one to be able to...
This is what the mounting plate looks like. It is 14 inches tall by 12 inches wide. The cover is held to the mounting plate with rivnuts, so more holes would be required if you needed to maintain the functionality of the mounting plate remaining mounted and removing the cover, which I would...
I'll have to take a look tomorrow. I can give you the dimensions of the mounting plate for the panel. It comes with two pieces, the mounting plate and then the cover. I'm not actually using the mounting plate since I went straight to the molle. Maybe 813 would sell you just a cover to save a...
I had a single compressor installed in a Decked ammo can, and I really liked the air compressor setup for that. When I took the drawers out I bought an 813 Fabrication "Jeep Gladiator Bed Side Enclosure - Medium for ARB Twin/Single Compressor". I mounted the compressor to a Builtright Industries...
Ok, so there is no information supporting it because that's just simply not a fact. I'm basing this off in-person discussion I had with BDS Suspension and FOX regarding the limitation of the Tremor model for their lift kits. The limitation is due to differences in the front end. Honestly, I...
I'm not referring to the vibrations when I speak to the ride quality on the Old Man Emu suspension. I'm comparing it to the ride of the truck before and after, and I would say it was not pleasant. In the dirt, it was good. On the big woops, it was good. Driving over a crack in the pavement was a...
Not to hijack this thread, but do you not get crazy vibration lifted that high? I can say the Old Man Emu suspension (full BP-51 with 600 lb springs) on my '21 Tremor was not good and I would recommend staying away from it. I'll be putting the tent and gear back on my truck shortly and I'll...
This is correct. If you go into the fuel economy menu and scroll up/down you will find the current status of the ASS. It will tell you why it isn't activating when you are at a stop and thinking it should.
New, never installed overhead Molle panel by OGFab. The lead time for this is insane, while I was waiting for it I built a platform in place of my backseat. Once I looked at it I realized the platform + dog bed height would be too close to the overhead Molle for the dog to use the bed. This is...
I was in the Outer Banks a month ago on the 4X4 beach, when I was airing up and the truck was idling there was a strong stream flowing out. I'm thinking this is normal due to the humidity @Frenchy pointed out, but to your point it was a surprising amount of fluid. I also felt a couple of drops...
Just to bring this back to life, I had a chance to remove the tune earlier this week. So far, it has not been an improvement at all. Next stop for me is the dealer, the issue has gone from intermittent to pretty much all the time.
How is yours progressing?
If you're looking for a diy solution there are two threaded studs to the left of the aux switch fuse box. I used a piece of aluminum and made a template using cardboard to get a plate to mount a fuse and breaker to. I would imagine it would work fine for a catch can, depending on how big it is.
I am converting my 12" HD aluminum RCI bed rack (5' bed - 46" version) to an 18" rack to accommodate a 270 awning. I am selling the 3 crossmembers and the 6 legs that come with the 12" HD aluminum rack for $275.
If you have the 18" and want something shorter this is about $150 less than I paid...
