  1. 2019 Ranger Won't Start w/ Key - Does Start w/ App (Satellite)

Electrical issue, most likely dying battery, possible Alternator may not be sufficiently charging and or you have a parasite draw.
  2. Air filters

K&N, all I ever use as it's easy to clean and recharge. Not to mention paired with the AFEpower intake snorkel that is larger than the stock snorkel, it SORTA gives you that CAI gain.
  3. Yay or Nay

I will give credit as they have good taste in tonneau covers.
  4. TPMS inaccuracy

TPMS is a backup system, it's there to warn you as you drive that a tire is going low and that you should pull over before a blowout happens. It's never accurate usually within a +/- 2 to 5psi variant. It's not a replacement for using a real pressure gauge once a week or at very least once a...
  5. Sleep in your truck

It will reach production, issue is that the production model will most likely be heavily watered down due to the real dimwit laws and regulations regarding trucks.
  6. Sleep in your truck

Don't write Musk's truck off till you see it in the crusher. Same stuff was said about the Semi being Vaporware, and look at today they're being towed around since they run out of juice faster than a toddler looking for a sugar high.
  7. Tesla semi issues and limited range

Which we would be able to adopt Euro Emissions provided we get rid of Commie I mean Cali Emissions and send CARB into the dirt where it belongs. I couldn't get idiots to understand removing CARBs autonomy to dictate emissions standards which hurts more than helps would make cars more affordable...
  8. Tesla semi issues and limited range

As I tell my wife why they try to force this crap down our throats, is that us Plebs will have nothing and like it, while the Elites will be rich, have everything and we will like that too.
  9. Rear Wheel Well Liners

It's called washing, which I do once a week to every two weeks in winter depending on conditions, summer time I hand wash with a spray on wash and wax.
  10. Tesla semi issues and limited range

Europe has this thing called winter as well, not an excuse part of the problem is yes Diesel Emissions but the Diesel Emissions didn't become an issue until the 2,000's as VW had several Diesel options and so did Mercedes that also got phenomenal fuel mileage. I had a coworker who put a second...
  11. Tesla semi issues and limited range

Diesel never took off in the first place despite being better than gasoline.
  12. Carrying wheels and tires in the bed of my Ranger

I have Ford's plastic bed mat and cargo net, with a Gator soft trifold tonneau. Cargo net has earned it's worth mainly with the trip to Florida and back holding down the luggage, stroller and second car seat. I'm glad this month it will just be luggage consisting of the large luggage bag for my...
  13. Tesla semi issues and limited range

As somebody who drove Big Rig and Diesel Trucks for a living, Bio Diesel has some serious setbacks that generally don't get addressed, the biggest is that they gel up in cool temps, I'm talking 40 to 45 degrees. You have to really add the anti gel to them or you're in for a bad day. But what...
  14. Maxxis Razr AT-811 Tires

Aggressive as get out but Bridgestone's budget brand Primewell had an insanely cheap MT/AT that was aggressive looking if I remember it was the Primewell PA100 or something like that. Probably one of the most worthless so called ATs on the market, one inch of snow and you went nowhere and worse...
  15. Tesla semi issues and limited range

I believe it was Toyota that stated EVs are better left as Hybrids and being supplemental opposed to primary for being a power source. Unfortunately when you look at the past 100 years of full EVs it's always the same two primary issues followed by the third. The two primary are Range and Price...
  16. Tesla semi issues and limited range

No surprise, lends more credibility to the article about the F150 Lightning having less than 100 mile range towing. Its basic laws of physics/motion here. More weight to pull more energy needed and hence faster drain on the battery. Chrysler has to be putting their first in the air for a victory...
  17. Carrying wheels and tires in the bed of my Ranger

Ford does have a cargo net available for the Ranger in both bed sizes, I do recommend using carabineers because the plastic hooks suck big time. Cargo net does do wonders in minimizing groceries from ending up all over the bed driving home.
  18. LTX M/S vs. T/A K02

Mechanic, I worked for Bridgestone the company that also owns Firestone, Primewell, and Dayton tires. I know more about tires, tread design specifics, 3D siping, compounds for commercial and passenger tires. I know why Bridgestone's flagship AT the Dueler Revo is a failure because it has to do...
  19. LTX M/S vs. T/A K02

No kidding its why studless winter tires are heavily siped in the first place to add bite. Second you don't know anything about tires, there's a reason factory off road trucks like Raptors, ZR2 the TRD and Trex have LT designated tires, which the Destination XT was designed specifically for...
  20. Will you be upgrading to a 6G? Why or why not?

I work in Detroit, and I live about an hour away. I see test mules usually a couple times a week. I live right near the Fiat / Chrysler proving grounds.... so I see their vehicles often too. Ford has been running the Rangers around without Camo for months now. Oddly enough, I was in Denver for...
