Hi Mark, I realize that I'm commenting on an ancient thread, but I just saw this lol. Did you ever finish this project, and if so so you have more pics to share? I'm wanting to do this and what you have so far looks great!

I got lucky. My dealership had a cool 2022 Ranger I liked on the lot, not marked up at all. They gave me a decent deal on my trade in, with a 1,200.00 rebate. When I approached my salesman he offered the option to order, but I was good :)

2022, just got it like two nights ago.

Yeah, I should clarify, lol: They told me the wastegate is opening and closing, but only at 75%, so it "works" just not as well as it should. They told me it's safe to drive 'till they get my new parts in a couple days. The truck is throwing codes though because there are faults, even if minor...

They seem to be so far. The sales team was awesome, and the service team is (so far) efficient and on the ball as well.

Yeah, it has the hood support rod, just not the gas/pneumatic charged strut-deal.

**Update** the turbo wastegate solenoid is bad, they are waIting on the part but they say it’s drivable until they get it, so it’s all good for now :)

Oh, my poor truck! I got 3 codes in FordPass that basically say my turbo wastegate is stuck shut, and another code that says turbo wire issue. I was able to get right into the dealership first thing today, and a mechanic is on it. I’ll post an update when they tell me what’s up…

First mod done!! Totally deflated my tires from the "fresh from the dealer" 40 psi to 33 psi. :LOL: :LOL:

I think we will eventually have a small camper to tow, but I'm thinking the Ranger itself will eventually transform into the Superbuggy :LOL:

Awright, just ran outside in mu UGGs to see, and nope -no hood struts. And no engine cover either, but I already knew to expect that (Thaaaaanks forum! hehe :LOL:)

Yet another new owner here :) Very happy to be able to post that I finally have a Ranger! -And thanks to all the helpful people that have posted all their experience with this platform, which is a good part of why I went with this truck.
