I haven’t seen anybody in the ranger. Found some on the Tacoma forums who did it.
I’m still throwing around the idea of just putting it on the drivers seat.
Ultimately choose the less dressed up sidewall. I like the look of the distinct blocks this way. Guys at the local tires shop put them on today.
Really happy I chose to stay with the sport wheels for now. They look better in person than all the pictures I have looked at on here. Still...
Alignment post eibach came back fine.
I adjusted the front crash bars full forward to get ready for the tires. There was a good amount of play in them. 15mm socket and push them forward. The backs were already full aft. I also removed the plastic covers on them. Gives another 1/4” or so.
I...
First tow with the truck. Boat weighs about 4000 pounds. Towed great I just need to get a drop hitch to level the trailer out.
The Eibach Upgrade was next.
Full 3” in the front and 1” in the back. After we did the fronts we dropped the truck back down to take a look at it. It was...
Next upgrade was the line-x shop. Had the bed sprayed with premium and the boards sprayed as well. They removed the GoRhino silver tags on the boards and it looks much better.
In lays for the tailgate was the first quick upgrade.
The RB20 install hit a snag. One of the supports wasn’t really close to 90 degree. They were quick to resolve the issue but I drove around with one step on for about a week.
This was pre linex on the boards.
As of today
2019 xlt 301A
285/70R17 nitto ridge grapplers(P rated 116Q, I don’t off-road and they weigh a lot less that the LT)
Stock 17” sport wheels
Eibach 3” front(with springs)
Eibach 1” rear blocks
1” bora wheel spacers
Crash bars adjusted full forward, no cutting so far.
Go Rhino...
I am really struggling to decide.
It’s going to be ridge grappler P raged tires in one of these sizes.
im either going to keep the stock wheels and go 285/70/17 with 1” spacers(first picture)
Fuel rebel 17”s with 285/70/17 +1 offset(because it’s either that or -12 in 17 inch wheels) like...
Put the full 3/1 on last night. No problems on the 2wd and no problems aligning.
Here is what it looks like on factory tires. New tires coming later this week.
Got a question for anybody who’s added blocks.
I added the eibach 1 inch blocks to the rear last night and the drivers side had an extra 1/4” shim on it.
I left it in because it came from factory like that but I was wondering if anyone else had the extra shim compared to the passenger side...
1985 aqua sport 222 I restored last year.
I need to turn my hitch ball around as my last truck sat much lower. Otherwise it towed great for the short distance I pulled it. Haven’t put it in and out of the water with this truck yet but based on how it pulled I’m confident it won’t be an issue...
